Episodes 4 and 10 are probably the most emotionally shocking and draining of the series. There will still be some dark episodes here and there, but there will be also more lighthearted or adventure/battle focused ones. This is an emotional rollercoaster, but the worse is mostly passed. Probably. And you still have to meet some really cool characters!

How did they figure out Hughes was investigating, you ask? The bad guys have some connections within the military (lab 5 used to be military, isn't it?). And one of them is a shapeshifter. You cannot trust anyone.

I used to cry every time I watch this episode. Now it’s only sometimes. The times when I don’t cry my body gets all tensed up and I need to take a few minutes to breath and relax.😢

I rather wish you were taking the Dub route, some because I like to Radio, some part because it's a really good example of what a dub CAN be.

Yeah...this is a harsh episode. There are quite a few of those in this series, but it's still great!

Ed got shit tons of knowledge hammered into his brain when he went past through the Gate, yes. But Al and him were little geniuses (Ed is smarted than Al though) since the beginning. Human Transmutation theory is incredibly difficult. They had to be able to calculate chemical components of human body so they could "make" their mother's body using the Human Transmutation

I'd love for you guys to watch yu yu hakusho since you're already watching hunterxhunter. I've seen all of yu yu hakusho like 20 times now.

The rest of the show is even better, I would like to suggest you anime thats called Code Geass, this is very similar to Death note , if not better. after u finish it u may consider my offer. I really like your videos.

Oh man, been waiting for this episode, truly one of the most legendary moments in all of anime excited for you guys to experience the rest of this masterpiece :)

So many things happened in this episode ^^ Abengane the Conjurer with the nen beast who can eat other people's nen has got a very useful but troublesome ability (btw I heard JJK's author is a big HxH fan) He seems to be from Africa or at least from African ascendance, and his nen ability was created based on his culture and religion (animism) so he can summon the 'spirits of the forest' to conjure different nen beasts who are a manifestation of the nen power he tries to remove, so that big ugly worm is like showing the Bomber nen's nature : the bombs are powerful bc it's a combined nen power with the 3 bombers' nen needed for activation... Nen's mechanics and rules are so fun to learn Killua casually leaving the game to pass 'real quick' the Hunter exam 😂love that he met the Kirikos and that they remembered Gon (and his smell! damn Killua took a shower tho!) Gon's training going smoothly ...so many things that will be important in the future... even after the anime is done in manga-only territory! So much fun ^^ glad you're enjoying it

'Throwing' aura is an Emitter ability. Changing aura to have other properties (electricity in Killua's case, slashing in Gon's) is a Transmuter ability. And remember the Nen type chart, where every type has two types adjacent to it - Bisky said that training up all three is more effective than just training the one you're good at, and Emitter and Transmuter are the ones adjacent to Enhancer, which is why Gon chose those types.

The Bomber reveal! I love that him explaining his ability is a condition... normally the villain is yapping non stop explaining his powers even though it doesn't do anything for him and helps the opponent finding a counterattack which is the dumbest thing to do but Togashi found a way to do exposition in a way that makes sense with the power system...genius! Also normally you'll wonder why the opponent is just listening to that long ass speech when he could just attack (like Jispa did) but again the ability 'Little Flower' the Bomber used on Jispa justifies that they don't attack and listen to his explanations while frenetically racking their brains to find a way out ... The Bombers are not the most popular villains in HxH but I like smart villains 😅 ...and there you have our smart cookie Sharnalk who brings the Troupe to GI 😁 My guess is that they used Kortopi's ability to locate the island by leaving a copied item in GI then go back to their base by leaving the game, then Kortopi can use the En function of the copy to know the direction they must go from York New to reach the island and voilà! 😎✨✨so easy

I think you forgot that Kurapika didnt know that Pakunoda can shoot memory bullets, as even the other troupe members didnt except for Nobunaga and Koltopi who had already seen it. That's why Kurapika never got to include it in his condition.

Binolt's ability could be so useful as a doctor or even a private investigator but he became a murderer after his good will as a kid was trampled on...he took the wrong path but I think he could change like Killua who is now convinced that killing is bad ...imagine he becomes friend with Leorio in the future and they work together (they seem to come from a similar background too) I like how Gon is not judging people on their past (same with Killua) but on how they are now and what they want to do: Binolt still can change since he decided to atone for his sins ...Bisky's attitude towards him was very interesting: she was the one who gave him a chance because he had somehow an honorable side to him but she was also merciless bc he's still a murderer ...she came to the same 'conclusion' as Gon but Gon's judgment feels like it's more based on instincts, Bisky is just pragmatic given her experience she's a good judge of character and that's why she sees them as raw gems, even anticipating what could be Gon's demise... Speaking of Hisoka she's similar minus the pervy murderous side 😌

If a part of the armor gets detached, it has got no connection with the main part and the soul cannot control it anymore. When Alphonse gets his head detached, his eyes stop glowing.

the fact is when Light says manipulate people's feelings is weird for him, he is really serious, the Death Note destroyed his own heart but Yagami Light is that kind of person before everything

Dang, I was really looking forward to seeing these reactions, but the sound of the show is so low that I have to nearly blow out my eardrums to hear it. I suppose you're not a sound nerd. Some people like to use Copyright as an excuse, but those people obviously haven't seen 90% or better of the Death Note reactions where the commentary and show are nearly equal in volume and didn't have any copywrong problems. Also I know it's too late now, but I REALLY hope you switched to the dub version after this. There's one particular scene that is an absolutely legendary dub moment that if you haven't seen then you cannot call yourself an anime fan. Just search "death note potato chip" which actually makes it seem like a not-so-great dub out-of-context, but watch the whole thing through and it's quite on-point. Not to the level of the Psycho-Pass dub of course, as that is unbeatable in every way. I wonder if an anime will ever exist that can stand on its level. Or for other dubs like Fate/Zero (and all the Fate series) which again far outclass the subtitled versions. Plus the dubbed version of Death Note in general is actually better and closer to properly conveying the source material which is quite rare for a mid-2000s anime. Anyway, great idea for a channel! Hopefully you fix these issues (or they may have already been corrected in more recent videos by now) because you two seem like you'd be genuinely worth watching. Kinda like Inception. What a great idea for a movie, but if the sound had been such that the music overpowered all the dialogue and you could only hear about 15% of what they ever actually say... then that's about the equivalent to how hard it is to watch this reaction and how much better it could have been with just some small slider adjustments and the switch to English dubbing.

You are only on ep 7 of 64, there's plenty of time to meet the other "sins". They are not called "sins" within the show, the official name for such people wearing the uroboros tatoo (the snake eating its own tail) will be mentioned around episode 13 iirc. Short show? Comparing to extremely long ones like Naruto or Onepiace maybe... FMAB is almost completely filler-less. However there are some good anime series shorter than this, like Cowboy Bebop or Trigun just to name a couple of them. This said, I think Brotherhood would have gained something if being idk maybe 10 episodes longer? The first like 14 episodes may feel a little too much fast paced... later the show takes its time more, but however still cuts off a few scenes from the manga here and there...

Ross and Brosh are so naive in this episode, continously whispering *in front of the people* they don't want to hear them!

The armor was just an ancient armor their father collected because he liked it. There's even a small joke in the manga omitted in Brotherhood. It's a very little spoiler so I don't think it's a problem, however I warn you if you want to read the rest of this post. When later in the series Alphonse unexpectedly meets his father (I don't think it is so spoilerous to imagine sooner or later Alphonse would meet him), in Brotherhood they just see each other in surprise (at that point, the father already knows they performed human transmutation, so he gets it's his son)... but it the manga, while Al goes like "Dad???", the father initially goes for "My vintage armor???".

Lust's ability is called "the ultimate spear" iirc... She prolongs her fingernails to pierce or cut even through metal.
