I would wait to tell them until their Adults. Just kidding. I found out that I was Autistic on February 11th 2023 so almost 2 years ago. Sure would have been helpful to know earlier but I'm happy to know now. I can relax as so much more in my life makes sense now. At least I know what I'm fighting. Now I can start transitioning into adulthood a little late.

Thank you for sharing such important information in a simple way. I’m a new Rbt, and I’m constantly looking around to learn more and more . Each day I learn something and finish a therapy I get very excited and more confident . I can’t wait to be an expert because I’m fairly new, first month, and I am loving it. It’s not easy, but I love the connection and guidance I can provide . I love when a child smiles and say hi! I’m a pre k para. Love my job no matter how hard it gets. I love all my Clients . I’m so thankful I have the opportunity to work with children, they help me learn more than what I’m teaching them. Because I’m learning so much from them. And I love the families, so welcoming and so respectful. I’m new to manding. But with the courses and research I do, I learn. I also like volunteering.

My brother stimmes alot he is diagnosed with autism but i dont know the level he stimms alot he does not speak (only a few words) but whenever we say something to him he responds by doing it for example we say hey sam go getdad his watch and headphones he he brings them so yea. But i am really worried about him i dont know if he is going to be independent i am just sad sadder than i can ever be pleaee can you tell me which level of autism is he????

The severity of autism symptoms are best assessed by the clinician who provided the diagnosis or does diagnostic work. It’s impossible for us to accurately predict how independent your brother will become. We can accurately say that your brother is lucky to have a sibling who cares so deeply.
