A Love Letter to the Fellowship of the Ring
There is no better movie trilogy than the Lord of the Rings. It's time to understand why, starting with the Fellowship of the Ring.

It Doesn't Get Better Than Skyrim
Переглядів 1,8 млнРік тому
Why is it that we keep playing Skyrim, even a decade later? Why can't we move on from this Open World RPG even when newer games with better graphics are released every year? In a word, what makes it special?
A Secretly Ambitious Community Episode

The Psychology of Letting Go is one of Community's most underrated episodes. Let's explore why.
Why has no one seen this movie?
Переглядів 15 тис.Рік тому
Almost no one watched this movie in theaters, which is a real shame. Love and Monsters is an original, thoughtful, and well-made movie that deserves more love. Luckily, it has a happy ending in real life too.
A Perfect Harry Potter Scene
Переглядів 6 тис.Рік тому
There's one death in particular in the Harry Potter movies that is more emotional than any others (at least for me). It's a complex scene with wonderful storytelling, and it might just be even sadder than you remember. Harry Potter Folklore Video: ua-cam.com/video/mP1cxDXZpvM/v-deo.html
The Scene That Made Me Quit the Rings of Power

i love your videos
I mean skyrim is good! Like really really good! But there are other games! Truly
That bloody combat is bloody awful.
I've been in a Tolkien mood lately, rewatched the trilogy, bought a copy of the Silmarillion and also copies of the original four books (even though I've read them, but that was years ago) and so gave this a try. Within the first episode I was annoyed. Galadriel being a "bad ass girl boss" is just....wrong. You can be a strong female character without being a warrior. The lore deviations are just...silly. I watched Man of Recaps and feel validated in my choice to not watch this further.
It looks like AI ._.
Why should you move on?
Don't worry the show gets worse and has many more of these contrived moments. I watched both seasons. It's so bad, and yet I couldn't look away.
skyrim is legit one of the worst games ever made ... and the fact most people like it is the only proof you need, on a historical basis
Idk skslop never stuck with me. I've attempted many different playthrough, stealth archer, warrior, mage, VR. I've used every mod imaginable, but after around 10 hours in any given playthrough the facade just breaks. The economy is completely broken and the only thing that's stop you from having infinite money is obnoxious weight limits and how much you value your time. The AI is so braindead once you've killed one melee enemy, one ranged and one dragon, youve basically killed them all. The game is completely devoid of anything resembling a challenge no matter what difficulty you play on, enemies can very often be safe spotted and there's no limit to how many consumables you can chug. The dungeons all look and feel identical. The world is quite nice at first but after about 10 hours I realize that no matter where you go you're just gonna find more of the same and I give up.
"I'm the type of player that likes to look into every nook and cranny" And you've been playing this game for a very long time and just recently (in relation to the video release date) found out about nirnroot? So are nooks and crannies the only thing you look at or what? 💀
I just watch the show for pure entertainment value... literally when I'm bored with nothing better to do... and usually with a few alcoholic beverages to enhance the entertainment value. This... is Amazon after all... and they were only granted some limited rights to produce these shows loosely based on the original source content. You can't expect much...
You're absolutely right there's almost no game like Skyrim except for Baldur's gate 3 and my personal favorite Even though it's not the same type Elden ring
I greatly appreciate the care and depth of your work in crafting this video.
It took me over 200 hours to complete the main quest of Skyrim because I had too much fun getting distracted by side quest or just exploring the world. I wish there were more games like skyrim
You "cant tell good acting from bad acting"?
*laughs in oblivion*
Is that Neil Patrick Harris as L Rond Hubbard?
This garbage doesn’t look like Middle Earth at all. This DEI crap is so forced, it doesn’t look natural, but rather just done for the sake of doing it. It’s the new Star Wars series all over again. Same mistakes are made, and then when it fails they blame racism and mysoginy. The creators of these shows keep trying to make the stories mirror real life problems as they see them. All they do is alienate true Tolkien fans that want to see more of the amazing world he wrote about. Not this woke shite.
started another new character this Autumn.
Okay fine um downloading it again
I love this game and the updates have made it almost crash free.
I have so many spontaneous stories from playing on just my first walkthrough. The main story is great but the delight in doing side quests makes the game an authentic experience.
This is a really simple answer. You actually bought (and played) NBA2k. This has given you brain damage, which is why you enjoy Skyrim so much. Happy to help!
What zero pussy does to a mfer
Huh, almost like the show was just a mouth peice for the writers to make their political views into poorly written allegories about topical nonsense like.. immigration. The story isnt the priority. The story is just window dressing for the real star, the subtextual propaganda messaging
It’s pretty much a whole fanfic
did you ever play the witcher 3? i fint it arguably better
I've done every quest, found every location, beaten every combatant (including the Ebony Warrior). Still can't leave. Next I'm going to do an alphabetical run through of all locations. I'm getting interested in the map itself. Rivers, roads and elevations. I'd like to draw a much more detailed map, with all of the stuff that doesn't feature on the game map. The other thing is that by not ever allowing you to hear the Dhovakin's voice, the game really ups the immersion quotient. I really hope if they ever get ES6 out, they don't mess this up with cut scenes ala the Witcher. Nice video guy.
Assassins Creed went to crap after Desmond died in the modern day part of the story and Ezio stopped being the main focus in the past part of the story. The side quests didn't feel tedious then. Ubisoft overall went to crap at that point too which is definitely ownly coincidence and not at all the sign of the end of what was once a great studio that hadn't quite gotten greedy yet. Skyrim is great but I'll always prefer specifically the 3 Ezio Assassins Creeds.
dosent get better? witcher 3
0:28 Wait IM NOT ALONE?!
Do not play Elden Ring. FromSofts Masterpiece’s, the way it works, the controls, fluidity and responsiveness will kill your enjoyment of Skyrim. After beating Elden Ring and its DLC, Skyrim is way too slow a game now. Stay away if you haven’t already.
for me its rdr2 but skyrim was like that for me back when i had a shit pc
best game ever
Nice voice. Love Skyrim. Subscribed
3:02 I know Inhumans level writing when i see one No matter how ethnically, racially, sexually or any way diverse cast you have, If your film or series has Inhumans - level writing, It just won’t work just like Wish and Madame Web The IMAX presentation of the first two episodes grossed $3.5 million worldwide. "Nobody is going to root for a cast of characters who stand for discrimination, eugenics, and racism." with 5 out of 8 episodes having zero plot and zero-character development -Inhumans review. How did MCU went from Homecoming and GOTG2 to Inhumans in 2017? ua-cam.com/video/aSQ5-9_Mn8Q/v-deo.htmlsi=pIe9gikfJUaYpLad
Velma- twerking over dead body and Inhumans -Medusa - absolute jerk to everyone around her except her family, making you feel sorry for everyone she meets on Earth and has no storyline -Crystal - Super racist towards humans Dumb lacks any critical thinking
Over the years since 2011 ive accumulated 3200+ hours over every character ive made. And i still look up videos and find out things (easter eggs, quests, random encounters, exploite) that i had NO CLUE existed. To me there will never be a game that matches the overall vibe and ambiance of this masterpiece. Still waiting on elder scrolls 6 tho 😅
Things like straying from lore are symptoms of bad writing. Good writers don’t feel the need to change lore in order to fit their narrative because they can tell a story within established lore. It’s also crazy ironic that one of your desires was they stay true to Tolkien’s values but are ok with them changing lore because you don’t personally now a lot of it.
To anyone who loves Skyrim like I do and can't get enough of it, I recommend trying the free Skyrim mod "Enderal". New landscapes and stories & hundreds of hours gameplay. Just deeper and darker in its main quests. It's worth it even if it starts harmlessly. ua-cam.com/video/_DHkmHBPs2Q/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared
Yeah man, i still go into it once in a while, its one of the absolute best games ever made. it was YEARS ahead of everyone else at that time.
lol this guy thinks that xenophobes are logical.
you sir, are in Plato's Allegory of the Cave
I feel the same for Gothic series.
I think Skyrim is legitimately bad, and people that love it grew up with it and are blinded by nostalgia. The combat is terrible, the quests are boring, the QOL features don't exist. It's good if it's your first RPG but even Fable from 7 years earlier did a lot of things much better than Skyrim.
skyrim, huh? so i started the thing at 2016. played because a meme that i cant relate about "sneak 100". i was like, whats that means tho? so my college-mate told me that the meme is from skyrim reference. he said that is a pretty good game, huge open world game, a little boring if you play it too much (he's wrong haha). i'm interested, so i went for it and test it out. downloaded the pirated one, sorry. first day, it was like a okay game, with "old" graphic. but the gameplay is cool, i managed to escape from a dragon (alduin) at helgen. but everyting is changed after i arrived at whiterun in the morning (skyrim time). i was like "wow, what the fck? this is epic". and then i help a warrior woman with her boys to kill a giant, i was more excited with this game. and then i met jarl balgruuf himself, told me to kill a dragon outside the city. "what? i killed a dragon". and then i got my first shout. then i bought from steam at first 3 days i played. i bought the SE one. and from that, keep goes on until now (november 2024), i had a wife and a daughter. played couple other games sometimes, but still. back to skyrim to continue as a Silent Archer Dragonborn Nord named Einar Solberg every saturday night. oh also, NO MODS. i keep it vanilla thank you Bethesda, you guys made a MasterFuckingPeace
I’ve stopped playing for over 4 years now. But I listen to the soundtrack every day at work. I replayed this on PS3, PC, Nintendo Switch. Spent over 1,000 hours on it. It’s my favorite game of all time. No other game came close to this. I’m currently playing Kingdoms of Amalur Re Reckoning to try something new. It’s fun but I still miss Skyrim because of the massive world.
Grown men with careers will see this and think, "Hell yeah, brother."
I made it through season 1 but I quit season 2 in the first 10 minutes.
Season 2 is slightly better for me,Sauron's rise for power is somewhat ironic
The scene that made me quit is when they said mithrill was derived from a silmarill 🤮
Witcher 3, RDR2 and Skyrim are some of the only games that I NEVER tire playing ❤
