I always seen the add for these but I overall didnt care for it.

Some recurring questions I'd like to respond to: 1) The app is allowed by Gaijin. 3rd Party advertisers pay Gaijin real money to give you golden eagles whenever you do the tasks made by the advertisers. The Free GE app gets a cut of those payments as the middleman. To Gaijin, this is no different from someone making a normal purchase with thair own money, since Gaijin gets paid one way or another. 2) Obviously getting a job is more time efficient. I didn't address it in the video because anyone who is thinking of using the app has probably already considered getting a job and spending their own money for GE ingame. "Get a job" doesn't account for the fact that there are people in situations where it isn't reasonable to get a job, or already have a job and are just curious about the app. "Get a job" also doesn't account for the fact that you can use the app much more passively than getting a job, so it can be useful if you just want a few GE. You can complete tasks while you have dead time, such as while commuting on a train or sideclimbing in Air RB or waiting for an appointment, which is not something you can do as easily with a job. Some people have also told me that the app is a lot more viable to use in countries with weaker currencies, which makes sense since if the currency your job pays you in exchanges for fewer GE, it may be more worthwhile to check the app out. 3) The app may not work on all mobile devices I've seen comments saying they can't find the app on the app store, and while I still can find it, my friend who has IOS has told me that the app is missing for his device, so it may not work on all smartphones. 4) The accrued GE does not transfer to War Thunder Mobile When you set the GE to pay out, it automatically goes to your main War Thunder account. Perhaps if you ask the developers for the option, they may make it possible to get War Thunder Mobile GE, since I don't see why not, but currently it is not a feature available. 5) Some commenters have mentioned that the app does work on linked console accounts. Because I don't play console, I can't confirm, but some people say there is some kind of workaround for it. The app's official stance is that it isn't made to work with console accounts so try at your own risk I guess. 6) Some commenters have mentioned that the "better" Emerald tasks are now gone. They still show up on my end but that's because I had already started them. I checked again and there are different Emerald tasks involving leaving a game open, but their rewards are much much worse, closer to 1 GE per time interval. 7) The apology for the thumbnail art is a joke. There isn't anyone hating on it (as far as I know). I'm not familiar with the character AK-12 or the game she is from (not a big fan of gatcha) but it was a request and I thought I'd use it as a chance to practice drawing, which is something I'm in the process of learning to enjoy. TLDR: The app is not an outright scam by definition, it does technically work as designed. But it is also incredibly inefficient and will be a waste of time for most people. The only "viable" way of using the app to get a lot of GE is by promoting it to other people, which I find to be very scummy. As such, until they make some major changes to the app, I will not be using or promoting it. As a final thought: You do have the ability to lie on the surveys as to protect your personal info, but I do personally feel bad about lying on surveys and those tasks are also not really worth the effort, so I'll just be avoiding them myself. If you do choose this route, it may be the most efficient way to get GE from the app, just by rushing through and answering randomly.

I've downloaded this app before along with a "Walk and get paid" years ago. Did multiple surveys that took 2 hours, downloaded a game that they wanted me to PAY for something to get the GE, so obviously I didn't... I walked 50 miles (in a week, not at once) and earned $2... to say the least, anything that says "free" comes with a caveat. Every single War Thunder youtuber that gets sponsored by the Free GE app I immediately unsubscribe and stop watching. It's scummy. A LOT of these mobile games it makes you download do not have security whatsoever or are straight scams.

Depending on a currency's strength or an individual's ability to work (age or disability) it may be worth it. However, for 80% of the people watching you're better off working part time somewhere and buying the GE outright.

As someone from a third world country with an extremely weak currency, it definitely is worth it. Some people here earn a dollar a day in average. I mean, if you wanna donate me some GE I don't mind, that's my whole day's worth of food.
