@dwarflord I wasnt expecting you to be in favour of dual spec, so im really curious to ask about your perspective here. On era, 50 gold isn't a substantial amount, but for your speed running... If 50g was a substantial amount, would you not have to show up with two PVE specs? I feel like that would be the case for most classes since there is a bunch of bosses where you don't need every single healer and you don't need every single tank and with debuff limits being off too, that provides more flexibility on a comp on a per encounter basis. Is that exciting for you to theorycraft, and potentially have to show up with that sort of preparation? I personally find it really annoying that I would have to spend 200 gold, plus whatever the gold sink might be to actually get dual spec, in order to see further improvement in my parses or times. With dual spec you lose problem solving gameplay choices like frostfire mage spec, or the enh/resto sham spec as a couple examples as well.

I would like for the dual spec that they require you to visit a major city before being allowed to use the dual spec item or quest NPC. Something about being able to change specs in the middle of a raid is just a little too off the spirit of classic

Generally speaking i am vs dual spec in Vanilla and i will tell you why. Please hear me out (btw im okay with them implementing it, since i also see the positives, however let me explain why i still dont like it in vanlla) Hybridclasses have the biggest charme, cause you can actually do hybrid specs to be a real multirole player, see holy reckoning/hotw druid and so on. Since we get dual spec you can just do two "meta" builds instead. I take the druid as example now. You wanna tank/offtank/dps deep feral spec it is. Now you heal next boss/trash/whatever spec resto. You lose the jack of all trade meaning since you are just specializing too now due to having 2 specs. Generally i still think it will be a big w for the overall community. Now please add ae looting and port stones and make boosting less strong and we good fully :p

PVPers will cry because PVErs will actually be able to PVP spec and fight back

Honestly, great changes. However, I firmly believe this is going to even more so lead people to leave Classic Era. These changes are just way to good not to go towards. Banning GDKP was already huge and this might just seal the deal. This will probably Cost Classic Era half their player base.

I'd say Priest is medium to fast levelling speed rather than slow. There is a lot to be said for not having to stop to drink, wands are amazing early and by the time they fall off dungeon levelling will carry.

I never got to play vanilla started in tbc and ive been a Prot Warrior main tank since tbc all the way into cata funny how they say its the worst tank in the game but ive Main tanked every single boss on heroic including LK Nef ect but im excited to finally play prot warrior where its actully the best tank (also love feral and since im gunna play pvp server idk what to do) do I just play feral and bear tank or since im GM anyway do I go Warrior an get the 1st thunderfury I just enjoy world pvp so kinda nervous because it cost alot to spec change and prot warrior in pvp isnt exactly a thing

Fuck those cavemen who doesn't wanna discover fire and wanna keep living in the dark xD I'll take those change all day everyday, Classic Era raiding was already toxic so if people are afraid that dual spec will make people need on everything saying that its for Off spec or whatever who cares, and if buff limit will make warriors even broken since now they can get way more buffs and not be afraid to override them heck yes let them do it. I just dunno how people like a game design that prevents people from pressing their buttons just because they are afraid of removing someones buff or taking a debuff slot or spend infinite amount of gold to respec all the time just because you wanna do some pvp for one day.

My only complaint about dual spec is it completely strips the uniqueness from heart ns druids.

I'm a bit of a purist but if it's a feature that should've been added in 2005 then it's perfectly fine to add now. Dual-spec evens out the playing field for non-DPS only classes. Getting camped on your PvE warrior by a PvE mage isn't such a hopeless concept anymore.

I dont think duel spec will be possible during combat - I might suggest it will involve an NPC in a city.. so if you are pveing grinding and get ganked I dont think you will be able to swap to a pvp set up whilst in combat or open world. I might be wrong of course.
