Thirty years ago, after moving to California, I bought a zippered passport /ticket pouch at a yard sale. The elderly woman told me that her traveling days were over now that her husband had died. She assured me that they had some very good times. Now I'm the elderly woman who will always say yes when my husband wants to travel before "it's too late" as he phrases his plans .... Lol 🍄🍄 Thank you for sharing your creative talents by making such a lovely video.

You inspired me to get out my standing embroidery hoop and start using it. I usually sit slumped over my work sitting on the couch hand holding my project. Now I realize it would be better to sit at my table and do my work. Less strain on back neck and shoulders.🦋

Thank you for your video Kiko. The passport case turned out wonderfully and a joy to use when you are travelling. I have beeb busy tidying recently and working hard on the garden. Autumn is with us in small ways already. So a good time to be productive. Craft wise I am still really into my paint by numbers. So soothing and will look great on the wall. Recently got my keyboard out of the attic. Thought a good time of year to re start something new. I am very much a beginner but looking forward to the challenge. Until next time take care. :)

I'm much more comfortable sitting to stitch in an easy chair or sofa. I have a floor model Dazor lamp that I can put directly over my work. After 46 years of using hoops, stands, scroll frames, stretcher bars, and in hand I use whatever suits the project!
Hello from Montreal :) I have a similar stand to yours. Mine is not as stylish as yours but it is very solid, especially at the base. I bought it many years ago from a local artisan in Quebec
JUST SAW YOU OPEN YOUR FRAME. I JUST GOT ONE MYSELF. I LOVE IT. IF YOU JUST MOVE YOUR HOOP FARTHER DOWN YOU WILL HAVE YOUR WORK CLOSER TO YOU. ALSO I FOUND IF I WRAP MY INNER RING WITH NARROW STRIPS OF CLOTH YOU CAN GET YOUR WORK MORE TAUT. ENJOY.
Thank you for sharing. Yes I just wrote asking which is correct… for the fabric to be taut when in the loop or loose? I haven’t embroidered in quite a while but I remember my fabric being taut made the embroidering process easier. Thank you for confirming this.🌟

I especially like to watch you do these kind of small projects. How did you like the hoop stand after you completed that project? Is it as good as you hoped? I bought one recently and it didn’t come with instructions either. It’s not as stable as I’d hoped so I was wondering how you liked yours with two clamps.
