Planetside 2 - The Great Aphelion
It has been a long time since my last video. I got burned out on Planetside and kept a pretty long pause away from it. However I have been playing quite a bit lately with xVisarax again and we have had a blast doing it. So here is a little result from our gameplays. :)

Hossin is pure nightmare for land vehicles. Dispite the fact Magrider is the best tank out there to move around in there its still very difficult to get anywhere. Not only because the rough terrain, but there are so many places you just cant get past and vehicle shields are present on almost every base. I watched this video multiple times since I started playing planetside in 2013. Till now I watch this videos, because it remembers me about the good old times in planetside... I wish daybreak can return to the way planetside was... this video is my favourite planetside video. Love it.
waldemar ebel Thats nice to hear. I stopped playing ~2 years ago simply because it started getting harder and harder to do the stuff we liked to do. For me I dont think Daybreak can really do a whole lot to make me return. On the early days the population was very high and all battles were very chaotic which suited my playstyle really well. Now its much more organized and mostly its just the veterans remaining so doing stupid stuff succesfully is just too frustrating. No patch can really fix that.
Paqu thank you for the answering! I totally understand why you quit. But what doesn't change are the good old memories about this beautiful game in the relatively early stages. I tried not a long time ago after CAI what you did (c4 tanks, etc.). Fury Flash op against tanks^^ and with brainless zergs it's very easy to blow up a few tanks, when u jump out a valk hovering below skybox^^. But I cannot do these double tank kills because of spitfire... maybe you consider trying it out for the last time before the game dies... Do you have still old footage? Maybe you can make a Montage with the style of this video. About the old memories, game play und the time where planetside wasn't that shitty. That would bring me to tears, because I love that game so much <3
waldemar ebel I have some footage left from the last moments we played before we quit. I was supposed to make a video about it back then but I guess I lost the interest to make videos about this game when I lost the interest to play the game itself. So I never got around of doing it. Its quite a bit of work to put out a video. Usually it took me about 7-10 hours to go throught the footage, find music and do all the editing. Then 2-4 hours of rendering and uploading to youtube. Not to mention the 15-20 hours of gameplay to get enough footage for one video. Now that I haven't done any editing in two years I propably wouldn't even remember how to use the Vegas. :)
