Nice kill streak. Do you use racer or scrapper? The flash is the most fun vehicle in the game in my opinion because of the risk, low health, and speed. I have been having a lot of fun with it.
I use scrapper on Renegade for the extra handling and its also easy to do those 180 spins with the handbrake. But with Fury I have lately used the Racer as Iam hunting tanks on the more open ground where speed is more important than handling. Handbrake turns with Racer usually leads me to spin too much.
Its funny how that comment pops up on almost every video where someone gets a killstreak. If that player is on Miller, there are people saying that you cant do that in "Cobalt or Emerald etc", if the player is on Emerald you get comments like "man those guys are bad and you cant do it on Miller" and so on. Yet you see it happen on every server. Its all about the timing, bit of luck and several attempts to get that one special run. I played out there for over 2 hours and that was the longest single run I got. Like I mention on the video I was using composite armor this time instead of my usual autorepair because I was unable to do a run and then escape for repairs. I got blown up after one or two drivebys so I took composite to last bit longer since the spawn point was close enough anyways.
Darkblaze371 The thing was that the outfit HTOO (some noobs trying to make tactical things) was making a push on that building, so they don't got in the building and you can farm easily at that flat ground. All you need for this is the right fight.
Its not. I gave up with the kobalt while ago. It just causes too much frustration. Not to mention how difficult it is to find any decent farms nowadays. People just simply dont pack outside of bases to fight on foot anymore. Everyone is inside the base spawning only from a sundie that is very close to the base. Once it goes down the fight is over.
Paqu That's too bad :( Why do you say that about there being no good farms? I thought after the merge you were looking forward to the ultra-zergs. What went wrong?
TheUnchainedMind As I said people dont pack outside the bases to fight anymore. Before when there was a 48+ or better yet 96+ fight somewhere there was always good farms when big packs of infantry were hiding behind rocks and trees and stuff. I think there is two reasons for it: 1. Vehicles are so cheap to pull now and you get lightnings from every base. So big vehicle zergs push out which kills any good farms quickly. 2. More and more people have realized how pointless it is to fight areas between bases as a foot soldier. So they just wait for the sundie to deploy close enough and then the whole zerg moves inside the base where all the fight happens. I cant really farm in a spots like that with the Flash.
Paqu Makes sense, the only time I linger on the outskirts of bases (towers mostly) is when I'm sniping, and I take great care to move away from most of my teammates. From what I've seen the terrain between Quartz Ridge and Indar Excavation Site is still decent for battle flashes. Got killed by them a couple of times but AV mines quickly solved the problem.
I love these videos! They are awesome and kind of inspiring. Keep on the good work!
Really looking forward for next epic montage.
So good! looking forward to that next video :D
Haha really nice :) the server merge was a good step for some more farms like that ;)
Yeah i got 250kills in 1h30min on that place, it was an epic epic farm :D
