The most innovative van bed ever? Introducing the Soogan Bunk
**Available November 25th at adventurewagon.com**
Made famous by the cowboys of the old west, the soogan, or bedroll, would allow wary 'pokes to set up camp across rugged terrain and sleep in comfort.
Inspired by their journeys, the new Soogan Bunk is a versatile and comfortable hanging bed that can deflate and roll up for storage. Whether you're a lone ranger or an adventurous family needing extra sleeping space, the Soogan is the perfect addition to your Adventure Wagon setup.
The Soogan Bunk combines the Hest Sleep System inflatable drop-stitch base (think SUP) and Foamy mattress with a supportive sling made from rugged Cordura Recor recycled fabric. It hangs from the ceiling and wall of your Adventure Wagon and can be raised, lowered or folded up to maximize space.

Oh great, now I need two of those! Awesome!
So stoked can’t wait to get ours.
What’s the price?
Wait, what are those "floor mule bags" on each side of the van, 15sec into the video? Where do I get them?!
Coming later this year!!!
Not bad but look always easy to store and install when the Van is empty. I never travel with an empty Van.
Did you add extra protection on your fuel line before running it above the heat shield? Trying to figure out how necessary that is!
It really depends on what van you have while assembling- I would recommend calling or emailing our Customer Service team and they can walk you through the whole process!: info@adventurewagon.com or (503) 427-0140
🥰 what an amazing product!
Right?!
Amazing, look this :)
Working with a great partner on this one!!! 🤝
take my money.
Coming next week!!!!
That’s a bit of a bold statement.
We don't think so 😎
omg this would save me having to lower the bed from the top levels after removing the dirtbike! did anyone notice the wheel well covers on the floor???
I had to go back and look. I’m definitely curious about those too.
Super clutch for solo dirt biking missions!!! 🤘
Coming soon!! 👀
❤❤❤dope
Awesome Jeff! - Perfect for when I go dirt biking - What are the dimensions??
There are two dimensions available! - 30"x78" & 25"x78"
@@AdventureWagon could two platforms fit side by side (one on each wall) to create a single large platform?
It’s great to meet an enthusiastic employee that loves their job and enjoys the work that they do for others as well. And the kit is a great way to get started and all the rest of the customization the installer network can do on top of that kit.
🤘
Most excellent lightweight, easy to adjust can break down and get out of the way if you really need to exactly what we were looking for ready to get it for our demo van.
Can't wait to see how you guys incorporate them into your builds!!
This is exactly what i need for my build.
Coming November 25th!
Do y'all still sell this?
We do not! The Goal Zero Yeti has been discontinued so we no longer sell this integration package.
After watching hundreds of this camper van configurations, this is really what i wanted. L tracks in the right places where you can configure or mod to convert it to campervan / cargo van or even passenger van. I will be following your videos on these particular mods. 😊
Stoked you like the build and stay tuned for a lot more! 😎
Great video Guys. Very clearly explained and very informative. Thank you 🙏
🫡
why aren't you guys using a drill stop? looks like possible to drill thru the side wall
In our shop we use shortened drill bits during all of our installations- no need for a drill stop. We also provide shortened bits in each kit.😁
is there ability to attach the panels to the wall when not in use? i like the bed idea, but i also need a way to move the panels out of the way and still keep them in the van.
Great question- that's where the L-Track comes in handy! All you would need are tie downs and some L-Track D rings to secure the bed panels to the side walls and/or ceiling.
@@AdventureWagon i'd love to see that in your next video. does the adventure wagon buildout for a 148 long transit have enough wall space for 3 panels? or would we need to double them up?
@ I would assume you would stack them- it would take up less space and less straps and attachment point to do so!
Let me film for you guys I live down the street and my van is AdWag’d-OUT! Also hi Amanda! 😂🍻
Stop on by for a van tour video!
Incredible company from customer service thru my entire DIY build using their products.
Stoked to hear that!!! 🤝❤
First
Is there a reason you didn't cut a larger, oval hole in the floor of the van that encompasses all the smaller holes? It looks like there's room to do that. This is how I've done the install in other vans. It allows you to make all the connections to the heater from the topside, then just drop the mounting plate onto the floor and secure. Also, is doesn't show clearly in your video how you attached the mounting plate to the floor. I'm assuming sheet metal screws. Did you consider using plusnuts/rivnuts for that?
Good question! We floated the idea of using a hole saw but when you look under the van there's not really much room to do that because the van's frame rail runs right under the seat base, at the time the size of the heater would not allow it to be over far enough to successfully cut a hole there. For the mounting plates we used rivnuts! Let us know if you have any other questions! 😁
Hi Amanda
Thanks guys from an Aussie, clear and easy to understand, well done mate.
Thanks for the video. If you plan on reusing the headliner and you break the clips can you replace them? Or are they integral to the headliner? Are they hard to source? MB dealer? Or auto parts supplier?
Yep! If you break the clips we recommend contacting a MB dealer, you should be able to get them there.
@@AdventureWagon Oh no. Might take a long time. I think I'll look on the MB parts website.
Just popping in to say thanks for the video, really helpped me plan out my strategy. I thought of one thing when i actually messed with my van though, when connecting the positive cable to the battery, there was that small black wire/ring connector. I would say the cable lug should go under that ring connector just in case whatever current you have going through thr cable is higher than the rating of that small ring connector. The ring connector should be on top.
Glad you found the video helpful!
Where I can get all this panel and read structure
adventurewagon.com!
Nice work. It’s good that you fitted the pump on the rear facing side of the cross member, although mounting it just a little higher up shields it from dirt / grime. The bottom of the fuel sender pick up tube is supposed to have an angled cut (not sure it makes much difference). Sleeve the fuel line for a bit of extra protection. All seat pedestal heater installations are fairly noisy, I appreciate sometimes it’s the only option but if you have a cupboard or other space the heater noise can be silenced considerably. The genuine Eberspacher air intake silencer is excellent too.
Thanks for the feedback!
where do i find those rubber washers?
What model/year Sprinter is this? I have 2019 and my relay racks run front to back of the vehicle, not side to side.
Thanks for watching! Believe this is a 2018.
Sanding the inner ceiling garnish? Nope!
On a 170 sprinter with the WAW setup, is it possible to shift the MOAB bed forward so it's not all the way up against the rear door?
Unfortunately you cannot shift the MOAB bed forward or backwards, only up and down.
When you pull the "chassis battery disconnect", the battery posts remain hot correct? You land one end of your new red cable right on the battery with the other end just flopping around hot (I presume). Going forward, the "chassis battery disconnect" would disable all power under the seat except what you just added. It bypasses the disconnect. Am I seeing this wrong?
I’m from Portland and I love what you guys are doing. Some recommendation for “ends game” status. If you could slide the tray bi directionally for internal and external access. And if the Ox box had the Track mount points discretely on the exterior of the box. This would allow you to cinch down the box while still being able to access the top contents. Many raft boat boxes operate this way. That way you don’t have to unstrap the boxes every time you want to get inside. It also builds a great integration with your track system and straps.
Thanks for the feedback, Justin!
If you switched to Zinc-Plated Steel pem nuts instead of the stainless pen nuts you wouldn't have to worry about galling. It's the stainless on stainless that's the issue. .
🤔🤔🤔 How do you replace the upper door hinge now? It covers the acces hole.
If you plan on reusing or reselling your headliner DO NOT follow these instructions of "quick pulls". How do I know? well, I did and the first panel with clips, it ripped out 3 mounts out of the headliner... I decided to use a regular angled pry tool after that and haven't broken a single clip across the whole car, including door panels and wall panels..
Do you have mule bags shaped for a transit custom please?
Hello! Our Mule Bags work great with Transit high roof models. There is a very small gap behind it when compared to the Sprinter, but hardly noticeable.
@@AdventureWagon thanks, but I do not have a Transit hight roof, but a "Ford Transit Custom". did you ever fit them on such vehicle?
Excellent video. Thanks guys, very informative.
Glad it was helpful!
This looks like a well engineered system, especially for a combo adventure and work van.
Thanks! It definitely works (and plays) well in a variety of scenarios.
I have the thermomoulded recessed panels on my build. Do I only put one layer of insulation on the recessed bays instead of the two that you sent me?
Never mind I just watched your video again, only slower. One piece of insulation only. Got it!
Glad it's all taken care of! Please email info@adventurewagon.com if you have any other questions.
Is there a wiring diagram for reference somewhere?
No wiring diagram at the moment, but if you have any specific questions you can email info@adventurewagon.com or call 503-427-0140.
The mount points are 21 inches apart? What about distance from the corner of the van wall for where l trac goes? Is it 12 inches deep on roof side and 13 inches down on wall side? This is what your companies yt video says?
Hi there! The distance from the corner to the track is 12" on the ceiling and 13.5" on the wall. There are some dims in the images of the product page at adventurewagon.com: adventurewagon.com/products/mule-bag-2-0
If replacing a 12v plug socket with one of these USB-C/A sockets, is the hole diameter the same?
Yes, the diameter is the same.
Are there panels for the 148, medium roof
Hello! Currently we only build interiors for high roof Transits and Sprinters.
You csn cut in any section as long as you modify the rib
Excellent and timely video. Thank you! I have and am installing your adventure wagon kit in my 2019 Transit. I also already have the same espar heating unit (you did not have them when I bought my kit). I am planning on installing under the passenger seat as well (very tight install). I don't have the mounting plate and gasket you show. Could I buy them from you? Again, I want to give you kudos for presenting another excellent video!
Hi there! Glad you found the video helpful. Please email info@adventurewagon.com regarding mounting plate and gasket and we'll get you taken care of!
