Why doesn't this have a 2nd gear or a 3rd gear?
I think he is building it for use as a forklift
Very good quality video. The designs are very simple but effective.
What's the difference between engine A3.152 vs AD3.152? Its possible to fit engine ad3.152 to MF 35?
Hi, Pistons commming from ad3.152 Perkins?
Nice job !
👌👏👏
Where can i get this seal?
hello. I have a masey ferguson 35x multi power tractor .. I wanted to ask if you know an online address where I can buy seals for the primary and secondary shaft, now in your video you showed how to put the fixing rings, but you don't change the cuffs
What type of oil goes in the steering box of a Massey Ferguson 231 tractor? It has power steering. How do I drain the old oil and how much goes back in? Thank You
❤
Thanks Mr Miller. Your videos are very helpful to me. I am investigating a seized engine on my own MF35. Hello from Australia.
👍
Wath oil using for transmision?thanks
Greetings. can you help me a bit What are the dimensions of both clutch door seals at the transmission inlet
Can I ask - does this tractor have power steering? There is no column or recirculating ball worm & nut in the assembly.
Do you remember if there were tappets on 4 of the 8 valves(1 on each cyliner)? I cant see clearly on your video. I believe they are on the exhaust side.
How did you check the hydraulics with that oil coming out of the distributor?
Ez a videó fantasztikus szakmai felkészülésről tanuskodik, köszönöm hogy feltöltöte a mester.
Wath oil using?
What do you torque the pressure plate bolts down to ?
Hi,flywheel 11" or 12". thanks
Hi. It’s 11”
@@Mr.MillersWorkshop I have a 12" do think it wold fit?
I don’t know

Hello Mr. Millers, I hope you won't have problems with this seal in the future either.
I don’t have any problems with a rope seal, but this time I’ve tried the new style.
Dont forget to refill new clean. transnission oil, Easy to work this trakors
Mr miller, where have you gone? is it a bit cold now where you live ? anyway I must say, your attention to detail, and the level of cleanliness is impressive, you could be building a rolls royce. Very good work.
Thank you very much. Yes it is a little cold here in Denmark, btw I have been working one a lot of other tractors so my freetime has been very small to put in my MF project. Thanks for the kind words.

Thanks 👍
Can i compliment you on a really good video. Can I just add something though from my own experience. At about 3.47 after you had taken out the PTO shaft you cleared out some gunk from the outlet of the diff housing and showed us briefly some needle bearings. You might wonder where they came from. Well along the length of the PTO shaft there are four bearing points. Starting from the back there is a large ball bearing (which you replaced) and then at the opposite side of the diff housing there is a 1 3/8" (roughly) needle roller bearing. That is where the needle bearings you showed probably came from. Next the PTO shift gear effectively supports the PTO shaft and finally the nose of the PTO shaft sits in a small needle bearing in the pump. It seems to me impossible for the pump needle bearings to have got back to the diff housing so that leaves the intermediate one. Given the fact there are four bearings it may be a moot point whether you need to be worried about the failed 1 3/8" needle bearing as it is a beast to get at and replace (I hope to do my own video on that). I am not sure if the needle bearings could have got into the rear ball bearing to jam it as I need to check but can I warn anyone looking to replace their PTO shaft that I bought a new one and later found that it was just too big by a few thou for the 1 3/8" bearing when in its housing which may be why my bearing failed! Slide a new PTO shaft in gently first without the rear ball bearing in place just to check it does not foul the needle bearing - it should slide in smoothly and into the pump housing. Well done.
Thanks. There were only one bearing there was destroyed due to the owner was driving with a PTO shaft being too long.
nicejob, i have a question, for fitting the tapered bearings on pinion shaft of mine tractor i would like to try preheating it with a stove. Is it safe or is there danger to damage it. I read that 130 C for 15 min would be fine, but would like some others opinion before i trie it out , tnx if u reply =)... and what is better heating in oil(what oil is it) or in stove ?
Thanks. There are many ways to do that, and my preferred way is heating all bearing in and old fryer filled with som engine oil or something like that. I’ll heated the oil to about 160-165 C. And it works fine.
thank you, i will try with a stove, wish me luck =). One more question, when u fitted new bearings on the diff pinion, did u use the old shims and it was good or u had to change the shim? I m just changing the bearings and the width of the bearing is very precise 32,75 mm so i assume the shim should be the same size, if the old bearing was the same dimension ??@@Mr.MillersWorkshop
Where do you get new parts - from local tractor shop or order from international?
I order them from 5-6 different companies in Europe.
Benim 1977 orijinal İngiliz şimdiye kadar hiç sorun çıkarmadı
👍
Most new mechanics wouldn't be able to get the last bolt out of the pto control assembly.
He He 😀 No comments 👍
Very nice and educational to watch, thank you!
Thank you very much 👍

U r Which country. I m India. I m going to buy mf35.. searching good old one
why custom made ?? you can get original from tafe or imt.. same engine same head gasket
It’s the cover plate that is custom made.
is the transmission the same oil and the hydraulics ?? or separate ?
It’s the same
how did you clean the parts? Looks great!👍
Thanks. It’s a combo of bead blasting and wire wheel.
again a good video, which helps me with my own restoration👍
That's exactly what I need right now! I am currently restoring a 57 gold belly (FE35). Thanks for the great video!
Thank you 👍
Beautiful restoration. What sealant do you use?
Thank you very much. I uses different brands. Würth dp300, and Loctite aviation and 574.
Good❤❤❤
Thanks 👍
Could it be the Dalmik semmering you are installing. It can, but asbestos ropes are better when properly installed and when the crankshaft does not have a large axial clearance. That semmering also seals well, but it can also cut into the crankshaft where the spiral oil deflector is.
That is your opinion. I have been using the rope seal for the last 35 years, and the updated version since it was released. And I never have any problems, with the to types of crank seals.
comment faites vous pour replacer la commande des manettes de relevage sur le galet de la commande de valve sans demonter la porte de droite???????
I didn’t film that, and also not lowering the lift.
Always good to see a job well done been in many a Massey over the years
👍
Now that is a quality rebuild job well done 👍👍👍👍
Thank you very much 👍
Again, I must congratulate you on your workmanship, everything spotless, little things, like centralising the casing before tightening the bolts, I think you are very skilled. By the way, I'm 45 years as a auto technician, so can see good work.
Thank you so much. I appreciate your nice words 😊
Should have cleaned out the gearbox sump and inspect the hydraulic filter while it was out
Yep. I usually do that, but the owner was on a tight budget, and needed it back fast. Btw a month later I fixed a leaking lay shaft seal.
There is no filter in a 35 r 65 unless someone put in diferent pump
Another enjoyable episode, everything looks spotless, cleanliness is next to godliness.
Thank you very much 👍
