Oh man this format is so good, I really like the detailed spectrum analyses and graphs. Really great channel format for people who make, produce and understand the dynamics of sound and music. Awesome. Thanks for uploading this.
Thanks for another great headphone review. I agree that these headphones are overly bright and I also found the midrange to sound hollow/boxy. The game audio portion of the video sounded monoaural to me and didn't match what you perceived. Your other video reviews of headphones the game audio test translates well - except for your ATM40x review (I think), which also sounded mono. Thanks again
I would expect them to be the same as there appears to be minimal modification to the left earcup to accommodate the microphone assembly that could impact tuning.
I bought a pair yesterday and am returning them tomorrow. The sound was OK. They were comfortable. But I heard a very annoying, very light sound in the background, something like a periodic throbbing. Even when they were not connected to my preamplifier!
None honestly. Both headphones are mainly used for tracking. If I had to give a straight answer then maybe the x15. Honestly can’t tell since Austrian audio closed backs are so poorly tuned.
I have these headphones, everything is ok,but earpads creates some kind of unpleasant vacuum/pressure feeling in my ears, never experienced something on any other headphones...have you tried them without wearing glasses? ua-cam.com/video/ImjG0jt22Ws/v-deo.htmlsi=a__F0bU2e90BRgRb&t=163 Mine are still in box,so not yet brake or burn in...maybe that will go away in time(as those highs)...
@@askdrtk Not only highs. All freq curve is like a rollercoaster. They are deprived of almost all good midrange and sound very thin. The only good thing about them is quick transient response, especially in the bass, and they have very big and comfortable ear cups - the rest doesn't justify the hype these hp are getting especially among some hi-fi "experts".

I'm assuming the PG16 gaming version has the same reference.

Do you have a recommended EQ setting for them?
How compared with dt 770 pro 250ohm in soundstage
In my testing, the Hi-X15 has a more expansive soundstage.

What dac/amp would you pair this headphones with? I'm thinking of buying this one. Thank you.
Thank you
As always, my pleasure...Cheers!

They sound horrible to me.
Excess highs are a deal-breaker for me...
