I wish they were a shorter 30" long. I got the Kendall reissue that's 9.28” x 31.4” . Some of the Winkowskis are 30" long but they're all 10" or more. I want to try something that's 8.75-9.25 by 30

Hey mate, I saw that you took a break from skateboarding, but I wanted to ask based on your experience in skateboarding, which one do you feel protects your ankle more, the Nike SB Blazer Mid or the Vans Half Cab Mid? I've also been having ankle injuries, and I'm looking for a better skate shoe that can protect my ankle.

got an egg recently after a long hiatus from skating, last board i was skating was 8.125, didn't want to go crazy was too intimidated to go with such a large size so i got the friend egg which is a 8.9 (8.5 across trucks) but after the initial adjustment it now feels quite small and cramped. it's the nose and tail that are the biggest issue, due to the size of the board and the taper the end up feeling quite small and almost unskatable. like it works but it just feels like i still have a 8.125 under my feet. was ready to quit the egg shape and just go for a 8.5 popsicle but im gonna give it one last try with this 9.5 symmetrical egg since that seems to really be the sweet spot for most people.

spend a few times skating my fried egg 3.0 (non symmetrical, 8.9 wide) and the size of the nose and tail are completely throwing me off. I agree that the shove its and kickflips feels amazing on it, but there's something so strange and weird about it that is throwing me off. i have it set up with thunder trucks and i usually ride indy trucks so perhaps this is what is causing it so soon i'll swap out the trucks for indys and give it another go but i dont think that shape is really a good shape for me. i then went and got a 8.5 setup off someone and used that and it immediately felt a lot more familiar and comfortable even though it's an even bigger wheel base and length. i do love how the egg looks but im glad im not completely in love because it would suck to have to only ride eggs from now on since it's such a unique shape

I found the same thing in that they feel not so loose in the middle as most other bushings that are adjusted to turn as such. But I've never had a good set of indy bushings. I've had 3 sets from new, and the bushings have always split soon after, the last set, the rear upper bushing split straight away, only a week later, it split right down to the kingpin and popped out of the side. That's when I tried the bones. I've had indys before with doh doh's and pig bushings, they felt great, the bones seem to make higher speed turning feel secure which inspires me with confidence. The reason they are tight to get on the kingpin, is so they stay secure, and don't deform around the kingpin over time.

Under 56 is shit for anything not completely smooth ground. You can get 60mm+ slim profile, but a bit harder to find. Bullet wheels should be the norm really like before crazy small wheels became the next fad
