@sandro2896 hi mate I'm glad you like the videos 👍🏻 LE is indeed closer to the older batches of Aventus in that it has that somkeyness in the dry down and it has similar projection and great longevity like the older batches had too. It's not any closer to newer batches as Aventus is Aventus, even the newer batches have the same opening as the older batches. Maybe a bit more citrus than pineapple but very similar. The LE is about 8/10 close to all Aventus batches but far exceeds the longevity and projection of the newer (post 2020) batches. I hope that helps mate 👍🏻

@Dracstar great question mate 👍🏻 Anything from 2018 to 2011 (although anything pre 2015 these days is pretty scarce) will generally benefit from far greater silage and projection, from my experience anyway. I have a 2019N01 which if I compare it to my 2018S11 the difference is simply longevity and projection, the initial smell is pretty similar. Once you go back to 2016/2015 you get a more prominent bergamont or red Berry (16M01 is the red Berry master). Later batches like yours are still very nice initially but just fail to last or project well when compared to the previous 2018 and earlier ones. Put it this way, if the Aventus you have was made by a company and they released it as an Aventus clone and it was 100 quid it would be hailed s the best alternative out there as it does still smell great! It would justify not having the best performance by being pretty affordabe, but the hate goes on it for being £250 plus. still a great frag when not compared to the previous ones so enjoy it bud 👌🏻 As for Club De Nuit Intense Man Limited Edition it is more reminiscent of pre 2018 batches, it gives off a better smokey birch and definitely gives even 2016s a run for there money with silage and overall performance.

Now that you mention it, I have noticed the performance of my bottle being not quite what I’d expect from it, so that makes sense. I might grab Armaf’s CDNIM Limited Edition just to have a nice alternative so I don’t wear the real juice every day. Thanks! P.S. Have you tried Zara Vintage Leather (original)? I’m told it smells extremely similar to Aventus, and some people claim it smells even better.

@tomken91 hi mate, I appreciate the the comments 👍🏻 I did eventually sell my 15X01, gorgeous as it is I just couldn't bring myself to use it lol. Incidentally I did sell a 15u11, it was the 120ml bottle (around 100ml remaining) but without the box/papers, it was a massive pineapple bomb! If memory serves I let it go for around £450 ish. If you decide to sell it maybe go on a trusted forum, basenotes or a well respected FB group, ebay is full of scammers, buyers and sellers unfortunately 👍🏻

@MackABD It's pretty awesome isn't it 😄. A better option for the hotter days as it stays fresher emphasising the top notes for longer, for an edt its got superb longevity too

@polanialmoni6274 the Orientica XO Exclusif oud blu is exactly the same mate. Personally I'd go for the Orientica Royal Blu (in the fancy bottle) as its exactly the same too and you get 80ml 👍

Cheers buddy 👍 yes I have the 150ml black bottle CDNIM, it's actually pretty good tbf! Not quite as smooth as the LE but for the price it's quality 👌. The dry downs are so similar too. Incidentally I picked up an original batch of the CDNIM EDT, it's really good too, lighter and even more silage than the parfum 🍻

Cheers bud, just be careful as their are so man fakes list there 😬. I've also got q sneaking suspicion the older bottles are starting to lose some oomph performance wise. I'd go for a 2017-18 if I were you .

Let it mature. The more you use it here and there and let the bottle sit in a dark closet for long periods of time it'll improve. You'll get 8-9 hrs off 5 sprays after it fully matures , it's at its strongest probably after a year or so of its first spray and after 30ml is used

Hi mate, I haven't sampled that particular batch but I can happily say that ant batch from 2018 will be far better in terms of scent profile and projection than any of the current batches from 2020 onwards 👍

Hi mate, it's always nice to get advice from a fellow Aventus addict 👌👍. I did look at getting a bottle of the Esencia Elixir by Loewe, I might pick up a bottle next week as uts been a while since I bought another inspired by fragrence. Funnily enough I've decided to sell my 15X01 as I'm just not going to use it, I know it sounds stupid but it feels too valuable to waste lol. I'm really glad I bought it though as it was fantastic to have another genuine bottle of a great batch. Once I've bought the Elixir il do a proper review and let you know my thoughts, thanks again bud 👌👍 Oh and thanks for the offer of the sample too, very kind 🙏

I haven't heard of any formulation change although as it's been out for a while there probably has been. I think you made a great call buying it and it should be strong as an ox after 3 years maceration 👌

Cheers for the comments 👍 I agree about Montblanc, it isn't a direct clone but just MBs own bergamont/woody take on the genre, most houses have a citrus/wood and that's theirs 😃. Montblanc themselves are a very well established brand (I owned one of there exceptionally made belts at some point) so they don't need to copy anyone. I can't remember if if I mentioned it in this video but they do a superb Explorer deodorant stick, it's a real gem when your rocking Aventus or Explorer. 💪👌

Hi mate, longevity isn't a problem with Aventus from 2019 or before, it's just the later batches that really lacked the staying power. If you can find a reasonably priced 2017/18 or even a 19 (the 19No1 I had was pretty good) you won't be disappointed 👍

It's definatly extremely close, like 99% close. I can't tell the difference between them. Even the longevity and projection are arguably better with it. Check out mags frags review on it too 😉

Your right the notes are different between Royal and Excusif but to my nose they are exactly the same, from top to bottom. Both great though 👌

Note are just that..."notes". If you see the back of the box in pretty much all fragrances they have a lot of aroma chemicals and the notes are just a way of telling you hey this smells like this but it doesn't necessarily have *that* specific note that you see in the note breakdown.

@pooolish334 you correct in saying notes ate just notes, basically whatever chemicals are being used (and they will usually be different because of price etc) they can still achieve the same note. Your nose never lies, but the back of the box may confuse us 😅

Orientica Royal Bleu and the Xclusif Oud Bleu are exactly the same ? Only difference is the strength.

Hi mate, have you tried Mancera Cedrat Boise intense? It is a massive pineapple/bergamont bomb, although a tad creamier than the fizz aventus delivers, a fantastic beast performer too, the dry down is a sweet woods/birch too. CDNIM edt is probably the least smokey and a decent performer too.

You want The Merchant of Venice - Venetian Blue. The regular silver cap, not intense with black cap.

The EDP version is probably a good option but needs to mature before it fully smells the best and lasts its full potential , it took my bottle well over 6 months before I started to actually like spraying it, I thought it smelt off compared to my other cdnims I've owned for awhile when I first got it but I guess the armaf brand usually needs all of its products to mature when oxygen enters the bottle

@MackABD yep your absolutely correct their mate. My edp and even the LE both are far better now after a good maceration period. The EDP especially has lost that harsh opening and is much smoother now too, I'm guessing that's down to the quality or handling of the perfumers alcahol that's used.

Il have to check the batch of mine, I bought it last year and its performing really well, definitely a beast mode, I don't think I'd want it any sweater either tbf, maybe I got lucky with the batch 👍

I have a 2023 batch and i have to say it's exceptionally and wonderfully blended, performance is great too, extremely happy with my bottle
