Heaven is life in the eternal covenant through Jesus Christ. Our Lord said: “the kingdom of God is within you”. When we enter the covenant through baptism, we enter into eternal life. I think a lot of people think heaven and eternal life are rewarded after death, but God talks about life eternal as something we obtain within us even now, and it is possible through our faithfulness to His covenant. We read through the prophets how God calls Israel His betrothed, it is a relationship that involves a never ceasing communication with God, sometimes without even saying anything. Our duty as Christians is to share the light of heaven we have within us to others by our deeds and our words. We sow the seeds of heaven by our faithfulness, we preserve the way of heaven as Christ has said “you are the salt of the earth”. Heaven is the true Christian life that is comes to fulfillment on the Day of Judgement when we become so full of grace we relinquish our selfish hold to our own will like our Blessed Mother, and we share in the glory of God the fullness and richness of the Divine Presence. I’m so glad you had the revelation that day! Heaven is here! We just have to open our eyes ❤
Amen! Thank you so much for this beautiful explanation! 🙏

I am learning a great deal from you and reinforcing my Orthodox faith and commitment to our Church. I would like to ask if you could do a video on how to pray for others. I believe it is called intercessory prayer. We often say, I will pray for you to people in distress or challenged by a difficult life event. I have a modest list and not really sure how to do it. I feel very clumsy. Thank you for considering this topic.
Thank you for sharing. Your videos are very helpful and inspire me to do better in my daily life. 🩷
I am so honestly grateful for you and your faith-filled videos such as this one. The way you explain the faith and your humble manner draws me to listen more. I was raised Catholic since birth, attended Catholic school through high school yet went through “dry periods” of faith throughout my life. I wish I would have found Orthodoxy sooner, as I have soooo much to repent for and the Orthodox faith is what I’ve been missing in my life 🙏 Thank you 🌹
Much respect for Orthodox Christian, from hindu 🕉 ❤
There is nothing sinful about dream interpretation. God spoke 🙏 to holy people in the Bible through dreams. I quit wearing swimsuit and adapted more modest swimsuit and outfit daily.

Hello Sona! I am Eastern Orthodox Christian ( born in Ukraine, living in the US). The thing that really brought our family faith together and helps us quite a bit as a family is evening prayer and asking forgiveness from each other before bed time . There is nothing more humbling than asking your 11 year old child to forgive you and having your child doing the same .
God bless you! What a beautiful tradition! I would love to implement that into my family evening routine! I will ask my husband if he would consider that:)
Well done video. I found your Armenian customs different from my culture. I enjoyed your enthusiastic and thorough explanations of Armenian Orthodoxy. May you and your family be blessed. ☦️🙏🏼
Thank you for sharing! God bless you too!
I believe all of the differences have been resolved but so far , communion hasn’t been restored. I hope it comes soon The Armenian people are so hospitable!
Thank you! Deep inside, I really hope so too! For that, we will have to agree to disagree on some aspects of Chrystology. And thank you:) I thinks so too 😊
Please consider making a video on what you cook while fasting. The children and I have been told to not fast as they are very young and I am nursing. My husband is fasting. Any ideas on meals especially during the American holidays that don't conflict with the Nativity Fast. Thank you!
Thank you for your feedback! I will gladly make a video about it!
Thank you for this Video and encouraging us❤ I am in the process of converting and it is my first Christmas fast 🙏 i did not find fasting sweets explicitly in the fasting order but it just doesn‘t make sense to indulge in (vegan) chocolate, does it?
Thank you for sharing! Most of the sweets contain eggs and dairy, but a little bit of vegan chocolate should be ok, especially if it’s your first time fasting. In my case, I try to stay away from all sweets, because that’s my biggest weakness:) God bless you and protect you on your journey!
@ Thank you! Blessings to you from Germany 🌍🙌🏻

You are very right about the value of our attention. And... I would also like to visit Rome someday. Before the war, I traveled a little: I was in the Tverdos monastery in Bosnia and Herzegovina, I was in the Ostrog monastery in Montenegro, and I would really like to visit many more interesting holy places, but, as you know, men are not allowed out of Ukraine now. You also said very correctly about honoring the saints. Say: have there been times in your life when you felt the help of a saint or angel? Thank you for a very nice and interesting video and greetings from Ukraine!
Hi Roman! So nice to hear from you! God willing, you will travel a lot more and you will see Rome. I did have special moment when I felt the help of the saints, especially St. Mary, St. John Crysostom, St. Gregory the Illuminator, St. Hripsime and Gayane, St. Nerser Shnorhali and many others.
@@holasona Thanks for the answer! I am very pleased to read your kind words. Unfortunately, on Sunday evening, the Russian army hit a residential building with a ballistic missile. 12 Iranian people died, including two children, more than 80 people were seriously injured, including children. Children have their fingers and limbs torn off. Wounded in intensive care. The Russian army continues to attack civilians in our place, air raids sound every day. But we hold on, because God's truth is on our side.
I want to send my love to all the Ethiopian and Eritrean Orthodox on here! I'm Greek Orthodox and my first church had many Oriental Orthodox Christians in our parish. It was beautiful to worship with so many different ethnicities. I really appreciate these videos. May God Bless you all☦
Thank you so much for your kind words! God bless you too!
In my country, dairy and meat are not eaten during fasting. Only adults fast. Children, the sick and the elderly do not fast.
The same in Armenia. Sometimes, if the whole family is fasting, children will fast too, but it’s rare.
😊🥰
Thank you so much for this video. I’m sending love from Australia. I am here for the first time and love this format. Could you please advise on the details regarding the prayer book. Thank you again and Gods’ blessings always to you and your family✝️❤️. You are doing a wonderful offering.
Thank you for your kind, encouraging words! In this video, I explain in detail what prayer book I am using and you can find the link to it in the description to that video: ua-cam.com/video/cC_ySuf-6ew/v-deo.htmlsi=Ky6NkLLUSFryW7xA
I have so many questions I want to ask you but I don't even know where to start. One of my biggest struggles is keeping my toddler calm while I pray or read from my bible. One thing I can't stand is hearing other people yell at/scold my daughter, especially while I am trying to be at peace with God. I get frustrated when I'm trying to pray or read and she starts throwing a fit over whatever. Did you suffer from any postpartum mental illness? If you did I would love some advice, most of the advice I get is secular; people are always telling me to meditate, or try yoga. I have only just recently discovered your channel, I think I will be able to learn a lot from you, I am very excited.
Dear Anna Grace! Thank you for your question and thank you for your trust! When I read prayers at home or read Bible, babies often distract me, they are just being kids. I learned to be ok with interruptions. It’s better to pray and get distracted at times than not to pray at all. And they are getting better at letting me have those moments for myself. As for the church, my kids don’t get scolded there, of course. But I do get when they are not behaving well. That doesn’t happen often, but Armenians, especially older people, really like to scold, because they like their comfort and silence at church:) there are also people who help me a lot with babies at church, so I am ok with others not being so happy about having them there. When I get frustrated, I remind myself of the Lord’s command: “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Matthew 19:14) As for postpartum depression, I did not experience it and I won’t be able to give you any advice here. I had some anxiety when I had my first daughter, but that was related to the horrors of my first labor that went so wrong. I had to let it go at some point. I was praying about it, confessing, receiving Holy Communion. And gradually I was healed.
🙏💖🌎🕊️
Thank you for watching!
I think it might helps if you are aware of being a child of the King of Kings. So therefore we suppose to have a royal behavior. And as married couple husband and wife are crowned as King and Queen. They suppose to treat appropriately themselves like royals with respect, patience and faithfulness. Furthermore when they become parents, they have to lead and teach all the Christian values and teachings of Jesus Christ their children. My explanations are unfortunately bad. But i think you get my point anyway
Thank you for your comment! I agree with you! We are crowned as kings and queens of our household. It’s a beautiful traditions and there are so many meanings behind it!
Like our saint Gregorius Bar Hebraeus said "... I became convinced that these disputes between the various Christian churches were not a matter of factual weight, but of words and formulations. Because all of them confess that Christ our Lord is fully God and fully a man, without fusion, mixture or ambiguity of natures... This is how i gained the insight that all Christian communities with their different christological positions stand on a common ground, without any differences between themselves." So we all believe in the natures of Christ. I hope that we can be united with our eastern Orthodox brothers and sisters soon🙏🏻☦️
Thank you for your comment! God willing!
Your prayers,please!
