But obesity increase significantly the risk to get tumors. Its the same way with smokers; smoking can cause lungcancer. Not all smokers gets it, but it does increase the risk. What your saying here is that it is wrong for the doctor to point out the smoking issue but instead focus on the lungcancer?

I’ve had 3 abnormal tests so far, every one I’ve done is abnormal. A high blood 2 years ago, ignored. A high blood recently and then a 24hr urine which was also high. But I don’t look like I have cushings so.. I’m not sure if they are going to agree to look into it for me..I have to wait to hear back from specialists but Im used to being dismissed after all this time so I’m so nervous it’ll happen again now. I’ve been suffering for years 😭 I’m so hopeful that maybe this is the answer, finally

I recently discovered I have a tumor on my pituitary gland and I’ll have surgery soon, I been watching videos of former Cuchies 😅 and yours pop out in my feed, I been watching some of your videos but after watching this I’m wondering, do the surgery really help? 😅 is not only you, other girls in their videos talk a lot of the effects after the surgery, so I’m scare 😣 is it worth it? ☹️ Btw thank you for all the very informative content you have, is been very helpful to prepare myself! 🫶

Hi! So you want to discard your first urine at 8am, and then collect for 24 hours. The last pee you put in the jug should be the next day at 8:00 AM. Its preferred if you can test with the little tablet, but you can do it no matter what. Keep refrigerated, and drop off at lab same day

Well done Noura, so many people going undiagnosed with Cushing's and most doctors very arrogant and dismissive, and not at all interested in diagnosing it... because it's so rare! It's rare because they never correctly diagnose it, it's always put down as PCOS. You videos are so incredibly helpful. Doctors should see them so they might actually learn something about this disease.

Hi came across this video for years ive been struggling with my body and what in feeling. for years doctors told me i had pcos. Last year i decided to go onna weight loss and wellness journey. I did everything cardio i was counting calories i got organic protein, strength training, and yoga. Drank lots of Water no sugar, organic vitamins ect. Unfortunately, i only lost like 18 pounds in one year. To make matters worse my symptoms didn't go away. All the symptoms that you mentioned i still have, whent to the women's clinic and the "specialist" rolled her eyes said its just pcos and I would have to just take birth control and learn to live with the symptoms like extreme fatigue, mood swings, low lebido, the severe stretch marks. I've gone to 3-4 different doctors and they still cant really answer my question of what really is the problem. I have a question if I go to another doctor what do you think I should ask to get the proper diagnosis. after the surgery do you have to take medicine for your rest of your life? I would like to have kids in the future. would that affect.

My GP suspected Cushing's disease 6 years ago. One suppression blood test done, came back negative, told i don't have Cushing's! No retesting done at all. Finally got to see an endocrinologist in November 23, same test and 24 hour urine test done, both came back negative. The doctor was 100% certain i have Cushing's! Next appointment is in May 24. How long do I have to suffer?

Also if you're able to put out a video that is oriented towards friends and family. I think that would be helpful for people who are struggling with Cushing's. Often are symptoms and struggles are overlooked or are dismissed, in some cases patently denied. But there's also this incredible physical, mental, and cognitive turmoil that results from this condition and it is honestly the worst thing I have ever experienced and let me say that I have been through many traumatic situations have PTSD and have lived through some incredible nightmares. But nothing comes close and nobody understands. So just at the time where we need support, the people we know aren't there and don't understand how to help
