You have to start researching to see what you can do in your area. I'm thinking to start, use a raised bed and cover it from the beginning before you plant. Like as soon and you put in the dirt. Then use organics to help you out. But please research for your plant zone.

We live in a similar growing zone. You're probably aware that several of the trees you're growing can reach 30 feet or more in height as well as becoming very bushy with spread out branches. Several trees you have in planters will need to be transplanted into the ground. It seems that your neighbor might enjoy some of the fruits of your labor. Consider transplanting the pomegranate tree further from your boundary wall. Where we live, fruit bats and insects devour mangos if not wrapped in newspaper. Your pool looks lovely. And, wow, you have a spouse who is willing to venture into the garden to help. I wish my wife would do that. You've got a keeper!

A very beautiful nursery, but I didnt see one rare tropical fruit tree. Cherries wont fruit here, neither will apples unles you have Golden Sun or Anna. Star fruit, Miracle Fruit Mangos arent rare anymore, Ppl have a whole business just on Miraclefruit and its not the only sweeter to tart fruit, there's 2 others, very rare and hard to get.

I only like to use red or yellow potatoes and they have gotten pretty expensive (for a potato) . I am super excited to watch this video so I can do the same. I have always loved to grow a garden and be in my yard working hard until I moved 2 summers ago to Western Ky out in the country. I have about 2 acres with about half of it fenced in ( which allows my cats to enjoy being out during the day if they want , they have never jumped the fence) The ground is pretty hard to work with, alot of clay and large stone ( im only a couple miles from Ky Lake) Arthritis is kicking my butt so I did a raised garden my first summer here and blight took over ( i tried everything to get rid of it) then I ran into a 7 foot black snake !! I raised my white flag into the air and said " I give up"! Haha I wanna fight my fears and give it another try this season but probably do more container growing, pretty sure my raised garden turned into the world's biggest cat litter box 🤢Do you have holes cut into the bottoms of your plastic tub?
