I had six years between my last garden and when the Pandemic hit and I thought, I need a garden!! It was my worst garden ever but I watched Jess and others to relearn gardening and the garden has gotten better every year since. But yes, Jess was very important in helping me grow and learn and not give up.

Hello my dear I just binge watching your content and loving it... a small suggestion for potato planting I know you are urban gardening but for a larger harvest you would want to get taller pots possibly with little doors around the sides so you can harvest from the bottom( plastic garbage bins work great for this). While the plant is growing cover the base of the stem and continue to do this as the plant gets taller ... the stem will start to form roots as you cover it and this will promote more potato growth within those roots ... all while still harvesting potatoes from the bottom of the plant...this will result in a longer more fruitful harvest ... hope this helps a bit

I use two water jugs for the chickens. I alternate so that I don’t have to bring one in the house. 1 is always ready to go in case the other is frozen. 4:29

I've been baking yeast breads for decades. One Christmas, over 50 braided loaves, 3 in each batch. Took 3 days of doing nothing but baking from morning to night. Having everything out on counters is a necessity. Good job! I also have always had long, unpolished fingernails. And I'm also an avid gardener. Actually, the nails keep soil from becoming embedded in the nail bed. Same for dough. Carry on!

Asia, have you tried using "Arrowroot " as a thicken for your soups and etc.

Asia, try " Alien Tape" it's a Great clear two- sided tape. Plus it sticks to almost everything, if you want to remove it just put the tape ...NO damage.

Crocheting is good in the winter.

Although a thought Asia, wouldn’t putting the quail in the crate be the same thing as what mainstream farmers are doing with the chickens by putting them in cages?

Im not much into bread but i did do dough for pizza. I started the dough in the bread machine so it came out wonderfully! Im on a watch your carb thingy so i watch the carbs.Since im not a BIG carb eater but its the snacks with the carbs i have to watch out for and count 😅

I weave and crochet. And I know the kind of time and effort that goes into a skein of home spun yarn. $35 for that skein is perfectly reasonable, but I agree that you want to make sure that you are quite ready to use the special yarn in a special project, after you have mastered the skills. Enjoy!
