I felt a shift and a gentle release. I cried and realized I am grieving my deceased family and son. It lessened the overwhelming emotions I was feeling and shift the pent up anger to a place of love and self compassion . Thank you🙏
1:03:31 "...my westernized mind tells me I'm making things up." Yes, I am making it up! I'm just that powerfully imaginative. I can choose what reality looks and feels like 😃🫂 Once i have the courage to feel my feelings I no longer have to be unwittingly under the control of the unprocessed stuff. I can see more clearly what is real. ❤❤❤
When I began this practice I went immediately to the rejection and cruelty I had experienced. The exercise helped me to see that the behaviour of others does not determine my worth. I really experienced a shift with this practice so thank you so much Karena ❤

Omg, thank you so much for posting this! Thank you for making this world a better place! I can't express my gratitude enough, how much I needed this! I was questioning what else I needed to heal, as I felt there was a block and it didn't give me answer consciously. This was the unconscious block I had. I was aware that I anxious in life when people accused me for something or they thought they have right to be angry at me for mistakes( I did or not, or it just something was messed up). I believed they have right to be angry, but it caused me so much anxiety. Now I know, they don't have right to be angry at me for mistakes or where I'm not even guilty about. From now on, I will gonna speak my truth- they don't have right to be angry at me, and if they call me crazy , it's their own issue! It was coming from my childhood, where my older sister accused me for things I haven't done. She was a bully and made up stuff in her head and believing she was right! I don't speak to this sister anymore, because she is very toxic and I protect my peace. She suppressed her own traumas and believed I have to do the same. She said we don't have traumas. Thank you again for this opportunity to heal and look deeper!

I knew before I started I had some pent-up grief to release. What surprised me was the shift into fear and loneliness. And I completely broke up when I said aloud, "I have compassion on myself". Coming out I feel of course some relief, but even more the certainty that there is more to get in touch with.
Once again thank you Karena. It’s always lovely but this 1 was especially so 🙏💚

I expected deep and intense emotion due to recent events but instead experienced deep peace and ability to stay with the entire meditation. It wasn't sleepiness as I consciously inhabited all the body scan. My thinking stepped in here and there but briefly as I was able to connect back to the original feeling. Not sure if I avoided any deeper grief or unsettling emotion; it was quite peaceful. Thank you.

Long time listener, first time leaving a comment... Just wanted to say this totally shifted my perspective today! I didn't realize how SCARED I was feeling! My fear was all over my limbs and my jaw, but through this meditation I noticed that is a very small, young part of myself that feels all static-y and yellow. Now I feel like what my body needs is a sense of HUMOR! I shook like a wet dog and put on some crazy music. THANK YOU, KARENA!!!! YOU ARE MY HERO
Thanks I'm a therapist with OCD so I look for non written techniques to regulate myself. Traditional CBT can lead to rumination for folks like me. This helped with getting back into mu window of tolerance.
