This is objectively the best live version of my favourite Stone Roses song. Say what you will about his voice, but Ian sounds nothing short of angelic here. Everyone else, especially John, are on top form as well. The fact that the third verse is missing from the recording and will most likely never be recovered simply tells me it was so good we didn't deserve to hear it

I'm a big Roses fan, but Ian Brown was a prick here. I don't know if you know this, but you don't have to think everything your favourite singer does is "legendary" or "biblical". Sometimes you can apply critical thinking to a situation.
