With my old cammed ss the tune had the exact same issue!! Had to bring it back to the tuner. RPMs would hang till a complete stop lol

Wouldn't you be able to keep the existing fuel line and install a adapter and plug the return part on the module. Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question but im curious.

I can tell you exactly why that bushing was bent 😂 they didn’t want to jack it up by the diff so they jacked it up there to keep the normal spot in the side free for a jack stand.

WAS the Girdle Pickup loose, why would you put back the right side bolt back PIA! On my LM7 Gen3 only has right side bolt holding the pickup tube. thought the concept on Girdle Pickup left bolt was to avoid drooping the pan for next time.

If you plug this port do you need to do anything else. I have afm, but is disabled via the obd2.

That glue will melt off in about a minute then it will fray over time All you do is fold the end at a 45° angle under itself, hold it in place then start wrapping over that.

trying to nail down a low pressure issue on an 08 6.0. Looking at this, it could be mis diaged if you just tested pressure at the filter mount, you would also need to test at the sender as well.. so testing both locations would verify if the relief was bad vs the pump.

I put a m14 x1.50 oil plug is it possible to put a too long of a bolt to plug the valve? I noticed the plug you installed is short in length. Will this work if I have oil cooler lines running to the oil filter?

You should check out Tribodyn oil, ive been using motorcraft filters with it lately, but now im switching to a Donaldson filter since they look better than the motorcraft on the inside

instead of drilling, you couldve just easily used JB weld or something similiar, cutting that hole is risky enough, no way id try drilling

I have a 2009 5.3 vortec without the variable piston option. Lately my oil pressure has been too high at higher RPMs and its causing oil leaks if I pull a long uphill drive into the mountain. Could it be this part ?

Thank you for a great video FasNuf! A couple questions I hope you have the answers for. I recently had to replace both rear struts because my passenger rear one was blown out and leaking some fluid. So I took both of them off and apart so I could put my lowering springs on the new (used with 13k miles) magride struts, cleaned everything up pretty nicely as well. Reinstalled everything and exactly how you’ve done in the video. Took it out for a spin and it drives/handles so much better now even without an alignment, however my service suspension system still pops up every time I’m going over a bump or I’m turning. Will it keep showing up until I take it to the dealer for the recalibration and or update for it? Or could it possibly be something else that’s causing it? Also there ls a light creaking noise still coming from the passenger rear. (I know it could possibly be the bushings) any suggestions??

Question - Does the exhaust switch once wired retain exhaust vacuum once the car is turned off? Like if it’s on stealth for fully closed flaps and car is shut car off and start it thenext day is the vacuum retained to be in stealth mode or is vacuum lost and it starts open exhaust til vacuum is built up to close?

I have a 2007 suburban 2500 with an LY6 that has VVT. I have a Melling 10296 pump in it. Can I run deinstall the oil pan relief valve and install a plug, or will it affect the VVT operation?

Is it ok to do it if you still have AFM/DOD on ur car ? I have low oil pressure and recently did a cam swap i already checked everything cam bearings cam shaft retainer plate changed my stock oil pump to a melling10355 high volume oil pump but still have low oil pressure problems by removing this valve would it fix my issue ?

What a coincidence , I am assembling exactly the same lift and was a little bit perplexed reading the instructions for assembling this thing. For example, I had serious doubts about the twist of the 4 meters long rod that releases the locking, and was thinking to reinforce it by welding a steel pipe . Finally I will use your solution: preload the rod in torsion. Thanks for sharing your experience and greetings from France.

Thanks for the video. I have a 2013 Camaro LS V6. Like the hundreds of other Camaro owners, My Radio stopped working (intermittent radio) which is affecting my AC. I have been forced to go down the rabbit hole of diagnosing, and then searching for solutions. First, I saw myself contemplating cutting the "white wire" but did not go through with that. Then, I learned that the issue was commonly the receiver (the silver box you took out) . From what I have read many have purchased a salvaged receiver online and went to a dealership to have it programmed (unlocked), and that would fix the issue. Before purchasing I opted to reach out to some dealerships,. So far the dealership is telling me that they DO NOT work on cars that are 10 years or older and that they would not program a receiver box anyway. I'm in the process of reaching out to other Chevrolet dealerships. My third option is just buying an affordable and reasonable after market radio. I saw one on EBay that is essentially the same thing as the one installed in this video. I Will update comment on final course of action. Its bizarre to see how many are dealing with the issue I am dealing with, and there was never any sort of action to mitigate this problem for Camaro owners. Its costs money and time and we have certainly been ignored and left to take on the burden ourselves.
