Another episode, another life shattered and broken by a drive by 'Mafia Ministry Hit'! The question remains..."When will enough be enough, Lord?"

Praise the Lord for Chris, his heart, his testimony, and the absolute CALL of God on his life. I have known Jesus for almost 65 years and love Him today more than ever before, and I too would NOT recommend that a new believer go to any "church". The early Christians never went to "church", leave alone what we call "church" today. They met together. Period. All believers who have the Holy Spirit do not need any "teachers", but as we spend time with the Lord He will show us things and we can share (aka "teach", declare, encourage) each other. The entire model today is backwards and does not at all resemble what Jesus intended for His followers. The "greatest" (typically referring to the "greater" in age) is a SERVANT. And we have no need that any man teach us. When the beleivers met, they ALL participated. They shared because they were family! The words denoting "rule" and "obey"were never in the original text, but added specifically by King James. It was FAMILY style, where each member of that family had his or her own relationship with the Lord and ALL had the role of spreading the gospel. Today's "assemblies" totally contradict Jesus. One of my videos is called "Forsaking the (true) assembly". I bring out several blatant proofs that there is no scriptural basis for attending "church", theater-style, listening to a teacher, or the like. This all came about during the 300's and is not a good place to refer anyone leave alone a new believer! Keep following your heart, Chris. I see the Lord in you. He allowed you to be harmed by a wolf - a literal son of Satan - and you've seen why Jesus warned about them all the time! The Lord bless as He continues the wonderful work He has begun in you!

It was only after I left Bible College that I began to see it for what it was. I began to see people like Juanita Bynum preach at WHC at camp meeting and preach a fairly convicting message but then take up an offering. I was appalled. And I watched Benny Hinn about 22 or so years ago "teaching" a lesson from Ezekiel and he said "I know you are enjoying this teaching." I thought to myself "That teaching is crap and not Biblical at all." I stopped watching tv preachers from then on.

I watch your videos but rarely comment. I was saved in the Jesus Movement, and first church i went to was getting into the Word of Faith. I saw things for 35 years that would curl toes. But I struggle with alcohol & have no right to discuss someone else's sin. I think that's why a lot of people dont talk about these things. The mirror is too glaring when we look into it to discuss someone else. .

Why is it always so dark in your videos? I’m just curious. I enjoy listening but have been wondering why lightning is so dim. Thanks.

Robyn, I’ve been watching you since almost your beginning and I’m so proud of what you’ve done and how you have helped so many share their stories! I’m glad to see you have finally made a way to accept gifts of support, it’s obvious there can’t be any time in your schedule to have a job outside of this at this time in your life. As a person who hasn’t been in church since Covid I like giving support to individuals that are pouring into my life and are truly following the path God lights for them. Thank you for being dedicated to exposing truth with a heart for change and desire all to live for the Lord.

I can relate to what Chris says. He and I were there at the same time. I too believed I had a sincere heart for God back then. I have spent the last 20+ years questioning that.

Same church as Chris. Same pastor. I graduated WHBC 97, my wife and I moved to youth pastor in that church 97-98. Lots of empty promises. The youth group began to explode but was shut down when we were doing very well. I walked up to the youth room door to find a sign posted informing us that youth were to meet in the church service until further notice. I had zero notice. Absolutely abusive but they learned from RP. My wife and I have healed from the abuses but oh my has it been a journey. These abusive mega ministries need exposed and shut down, they do not represent Jesus

I was there "raising the roof" at that time. I was in the choir. There is so much I could say. However, I just wanted to leave a note here to thank Chris for his tenderness and his heart for the Lord. There isn't any hurt like a church hurt, especially when you've partnered with a ministry because your heart is pure and you want to be part of something for God that is bigger than yourself. I was hurt and damaged for many years, and it wasn't until I finally received revelation on my own identity in Christ that I was able to start healing. My family invested more than a decade there. I've not missed an episode of Mega Maniacs because there have been many things that have helped me understand the "spirits" that were at work there that affected me negatively. I couldn't understand how the enemy gained access, but it was because of the head--and it trickled down. Chris's story really touched me and I pray for him that his purposes in the Kingdom of God would not be stolen! The enemy has stolen years from many of us and quite honestly, we need to help the churches and bring forth truth and love so that others can be healed, set free and walk in their purposes. My prayer is for complete restoration and that the Lord would restore every year that has been stolen, in the mighty name of Jesus! God is good.

I am trying my best to remember you, Chris. I was there at WHC from 2000-2002. when she said "Chris," I thought maybe it was Chris Montgomery from WV. Thank you for coming on the podcast and sharing your journey. God is our ALL in ALL. Keep trusting HIM.
