Also batteries died out abruptly I mean I did not get any prompt for low battery. App was showing 100 percentage in the day and zero in the night on the same day

Yeah, I surely would recommend this.

The OSS doesn't matter much for modern cameras, that too if you are more focused on video creation.

Also the wide f1.8 aperture will help to get to higher shutter speeds allowing for more light and video stability.

Combined with electronic stabilization or catalyst browse you are still left with a lot of usable resolution to work with

I would strongly suggest you to go for this lens.
