Advanced Engineering Tutorial is an effort to familiarize simulation engineers with updated simulation methods and tools. In this channel, we will produce tutorials for heat transfer, fluid, CFD, FEM and stress analysis. Tutorials also will include modal analysis, NVH and optimization simulations. Mostly we will use ANSYS for the simulations which is one of the most popular and advanced tools available.

Hocam, swirl geometrisini 3D nasil modelledin, videosu gelir mi?
i have a question if can i use the same techniqe to diffusion between solid and liquid
why there is no contact regions showing in fluent solver ??
Send me the file after finsh
Hello, Thanks for your videos, I would like to know how can I establish Heat flux as boundary condition over the solid surface without decoupling with the fluid zone? If you could help me I would appreciate it a lot. Thanks in advance.
thanks a lot man!
I couldnt access the file from the drive
A great video. I want to add chemical reaction along with it. Can it be done ?
This is awesome and very helpful. Thank you for making this video.
Hello, how could you get these much points on the graph, whereas I can see only 12 points and my graph is not smooth due to that. Can you plz guide me how to make it smooth
This tuttorial is incredible. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much. Absolutely clutched my Capstone project !
Thank you king
Amazing
Many Thanks
In the second method. Where is Wall 4? Why there are wall 4 and wall 4 shadow at the boundary condition?
Thank you sir
Great job.. Can you please make tutorial for double pipe hx, with one phase is changing phase(boiling in outer tube) and one in continous phase like air(inner tube)
Thanks, I like your tutorials. Keep up the good work
Thanks for the tutorial, do you know how to set up or define the boundary condition if I want to simulate “3d” two moving plates I have so confused because there are the other two openings
At least show the basic calculation with reference values
Dear admin, thank you for the video. Can I change water to other fluid or change the density of fluid? Please help how to change density in this situation. Thank you.
Hi Do have a full article or report of this simulation?
Informative.
kindly post videos about "Numerical Investigation of Swirl Flow in Subsonic Nozzle" in ansys CFD or Fluent..
Thank you very much. Excellent video
Hi please can you do step by step CFD exhaust fan simulation and Fan rotation animation for air velocity and out let velocity
Thank you so much for the video🦋 I need assistance with the meshing. I cannot see the 'assembly meshing' option on the mesh details outline view tabs. How do I make it to appear?
1.Can i ask you please about the value of pressure drop ? I mean which two pressure values to refer to ? (18:14) 2.Why does the pressure decrease too much along the y-axis ? (in my case it even goes to negative values) Many thanks in advance.
Negative pressure makes sense because of velocity increase on the edges. Like an airfoil. This is an external flow, pressure drop does not make sense to calculate and refer to, but for internal flows, it depends where you want to calculate pressure drop, you can create a plane on each point and calculate the Area average pressure and subtract them for pressure drop.

Thank you for this video. I don't have workflow inside the mesh. I just have outline view. what the reason of that?
It is clear and working video ty
Very useful information you have done in that fluid domain, you create the part(they have only fluid) in design modeller... So in fluent , you never give or see mesh interface...
Hey the geometry file link is broken could you please fix it
Hello, the geometry file cannot be found, i think the drive link is broken, could you please fix it! Thanks in advance
Cd is incorrect mate.
thank you for your vedio ,it is really interesting. I am a doctor degree candidate in china.
All 3 methods doesnt seem to work for me, method 1 it said my interface is overlapping and cannot update. Method 2 and 3 doesnt seems to detect a contact region.
can you simulate two phase flow of refrigerent through a pipe
Excellent video tutorial.
Hello, i am unable to do cutcell best in the 2022 version. i already tried changing the setting by checking th "unsupported features" under apperance. the assembly meshing appears but it has error while generating the mesh. can u help me with this plssss :(
How to make vanes in a pipe bend can you share the geometry in workbench
Hi...I want to simulate a hydrocyclone separator. Where I want to input mixture of two particles (PVC and PET) and separate them and calculate the efficiency ...but i am facing a lot of problem inserting two types particle through inlet...I badly need your help in this case😓
Thanks a lot.
I am actually having a confusion regarding which reference area and reference length to provide in reference values. In my case, I am trying to calculate drag and lift coefficient for square building by rotating building in Design Modeler at every 15 degree interval from 0 to 90 degrees. So the doubt is that if enter the projected area in the direction of the wind in reference values, it would only be area for drag but what about the other projected area in the direction of lift? And regarding the "length" in reference values, if I'm not mistaken it should be the diagonalish dimension of the building in the wind direction..right !....but if say for example if I am analysing a building whose cross section reduces towards the top...then how to compute length? Would it be (top diagonalish length+bottom diagonalish length)/2 or only the bottom (or maximum) length in the direction of wind? Thank You
Ansys CFD can calculate Cd and Cl for real?
Hi there. Thank you for your tutorial. Btw, I have some questions. 1. Can we use the same box and differentiate the lower surface as solid? For example, the upper surface of box will have radiation while the lower surface will act as steel, the absorber for heat. And in between the surface is the fluid. Or do I need to sketch another box which will act as steel absorber as the cube? 2. What is the difference between the radiation model and radiation in thermal tab of determining boundary conditions? Thank you for your help!
Thank you for sharing your Vedio, but I use the fluent 6.3.26, could you tell me how to set in this software, I remember we can set the coupled wall by the codes, could you help me ?
