The issue is that Bobby Slowiks play calling is awful. Run run pass basically every time even when it’s second and long, run. Hell even third and long run. We have one of the worst neutral pass rates. He is single handedly MAKING Stroud live on 3rd down, and it’s 3rd and long 99% of the time. He is putting him in positions to fail constantly. There is too much pressure and on him every set of downs and no room for error. I want Slowikn gone 2 weeks ago. 6 games with no points in the second half is horrific

It is not a complete team, and we're seeing that in real time as 4 of their 5 OLine starters are not fit for purpose. Three of whom would struggle to make it on many NFL practice squads. Until that is rectified (along with having zero TEs) they will continue to struggle on offence. PS - Tank Dell got injured whilst freelancing a blocking assignment on the goal line. We definitely need a better OC , but we 100% need to draft OLine with the first 2 Picks. It would be better for Maye to be protected and the receivers to drop passes rather than draft the receiver but have Maye get killed behind this awful line. If we have #1 overall it's very tempting to trade back in the top 10 and pickup multiple 1st round picks . We also have a crazy amount of money to spend but players don't want to come here. So we either need to massively overpay free agents or we use cap space to essentially buy draft picks but assuming failing contracts with other teams

Serious question... is Ja'Marr really a #1 WR or more of a gadget player that needs single high and 1:1... which is what him and Burrrow always say Ja'Marr needs Shouldn't a true #1 be comfortable going up against double teams and winning the majority of the time? Give him an improved o-line, a true number 1 target and a solid number 2 with this year and off-season under his belt going into next season and he will tear it up. Of course they gotta get the defense right. But there is clear signs he has it. They will probably have a top 3-5 pick, nice draft capital, and top 3 highest cap space available. It may not look pretty now but NE is headed in the right direction and could turn the rebuild around real fast
