    I have a 2017 Audi A3 2.0TDI 150hp soon to do a Stage 1 (190hp roughly). I am amazed at the fuel economy these car produce after being trashed around corners and country roads. 8.3L/100km is the highest I've ever seen mine hit after solid 15 minutes of torture. A lot of petrol's achieve that fuel economy while being driven nicely, my previous car which was a 1.6 petrol with 140hp did around 12.5L/100km when driven the same way I drive my Audi.

      my face was hurting from smiling the whole lap :) I was just so happy that I did not encounter any yellow flags and I could feel 275 kmh flying in schwedenkreuz jump for example... it was my third taxi lap with different cars (all with dale) but always had long bits of slow driving due to yellow flags, oil/coolant leaks on track and all.

      I had no issues with it, but sold it when it was 3 years old with 43000 km, upgraded to a CUPRA 300.

    Hi! I didnt even know you could get a private guided lap! Driving looks really good. Eventho iam more of a Autobahn-guy myself :D Ive a question regarding your tune. Did you have any issues regarding the turbocharger so far? Some say that they easily break when pushing >1,4bar. I can tell your cars peaks at 1,5bar. Thanks in advance! :D And again... really nice driving!

      Hello, no issues with the turbo/the engine in general. Tuned and driven for 52k km now, several trackdays on spa and nurburgring, autobahn sessions etc, but in general I don't abuse the car, I never did launch controls after stage 1, etc. Cheers, thanks and enjoy your car!

      @@gmrvideo i mean... autobahn and especially trackdays do stress the engine and transmission. Iam glad everything is fine! Seems like the quality of the software does have a huge impact on the durability. Then iam looking forward to get a remap myself! :)

      @@HVN8R indeed, quality of the tune is the most important aspect. and don't chase the biggest figures, I decided a safe stage 1 was enough for me, knowing that I would be pushing the car a bit.

      yes, stock turbo, stage 1. cannot complain about reliability at all. even after many autobahn passes and trackdays last three years.

      Thanks! For this track day I had stock discs and pads. But after 4 sessions I had vibration and noise when braking, most likely I warped one side. Currently I changed setup to AP Racing discs 362 Vagbremtechnic with Ferodo DS2500 pads, HEL braided lines and Castrol SRF brake liquid. Performed excellently on Nurburgring, just bit more dust and slight noise when hot, but they get better with temperature, big improvement over stock.

      @@dae8600 indeed it is a very loud noise on your car. now I can say that mine is also making some noises from the haldex, typically when just cruising at around 50-70, but barely noticeable. and it sounds somehow similar to having a worn ball bearing of a back wheel. but I never had the strong hum in your audio file.

      Excessive sweaty palms, that is the reason for the gloves, not for looking like a 'racer'. And slow lap indeed, I posted it for my friends who appear in it. Still, any lap on the Ring is fun, doesn't always have to be full attack mode.

      @@erichartmann8953 results vary depending on the car. For a safe stage 1 you will have around 370. You will feel the improvement ;)

      It must be a bug of Waze, it does not show higher speed than 232. Anyway, GPS speed is always a bit lower than dash speed

    Ok your microphone don’t deliver the sound in the video...but in real life it is very loud in the tunnel am I right? And are there some pops and bangs when you’re downshifting or when you lift the throttle.... like the cupra sc does it?

      Indeed, in tunnels with valves open it is very loud, a joy to accelerate and upshift, everytime :) also the pops and bangs on lifting throttle are loud, can be heard even with valves closed. they are louder than what cupra sc is doing, for sure. will try to get a gopro7 and do another movie, the microphone should be better that the one on my gopro3 that was used to film this.

      By looking at the number of KM in the dash, I realise the exhaust was just mounted. Now after 15+ k kilometers the sound is definitely enhanced as for any exhaust there is a run in period. I also now have Stage 1 software, DSG remap, pops and bangs enabled in Drive mode, etc. As I said, I will try to get a nice rig and make another video that makes justice to this setup. Also some exterior shots with valves closed/open drive by should be interesting, I need to find an external mic...

      Yes, I am happy with the exhaust. I wrote other reviews as well, because the car was absolutely mute before, at first I thought it was too loud even with valves closed. Now I got used to it, maybe I will add some insulation to the boot because there SEAT put nothing. With valves open it roars nicely and the pops and bangs are a joy to hear. If you consider it too loud, Je Design provides silencers, I bought a pair but changed my mind and never mounted them. My kids sleep in the car even in full throttle mode 200+ kmh valves open etc, but I guess I am lucky or I trained them well :)

      G MANC77 This was a public tourist ride lap, for the updated price you need to check the official website (nuerburgring.de), it is around 30 euros but gets a bit more expensive every year.

      G MANC77 Thanks, Nurburgring is fun indeed if you pay attention to the traffic and have at least some basic ideas about where you are going. This prevents you from doing huge errors which can cost you heavily...

      0:38 the ESP was ON and the car was breaking in corner, that is why you see the "funny" technique (I disabled it immediately, I assume you know where the ESP button is on the dash of a CUPRA). Please mention other cases of hilarious steering, I am always happy to improve in case others are right ;) What you can maybe mention is the weird braking technique, I even wrote in the description of the video, it was my first lap with the car, immediately after the running in period, I never had the time to get used to the Brembos (you can see it especially at the beginning of the lap).
