This video wasn’t created for anyone to feel sorry for me but more so to inspire someone who may also be going through a dark time. Depression and anxiety for a colored individual is seen as a sign of weakness more than anything and I’m here to tell you IT’S OKAY. It’s not what happens that determines your future it’s what you do about what happens. The most powerful weapon we as humans have is...

    I love your hair and don't let nobody tell you nothing. Your hair is natural because it grows out of your scalp. You keep doing what you're doing it's beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing your journey it's appreciated.❤❤❤❤

    I hope you are doing much better now. I still wanted to say this video was not pointless, you weren’t just venting and you have no need to feel dumb. I think this was and is a very important step in processing just how you feel and the initial step in working through it. Explore how you feel, it’s alright, you won’t get stuck in those emotions. It’s reasonable that you felt overwhelmed, we all need help. Turn to the Almighty for guidance and follow Him and His directions. He cares for you. You are loved 🤎

    I saw your texlax video and the result looked very beautiful. Now the curls turned into waves, is this because when you did touch ups you applied relaxer on your whole hair instead of only the roots? Or did this happen over time? I am asking because i also texlaxed my hair (i have 3c) now its more like a 3b. And i am in doubt if i should texlax my newgrowth or if i should just grow it out and do a bit chop eventually

    Have you ever guessed wrong? My husband and I have been eating out 2-3 times a week and vacations , occasions, etc. since Nov. 2000 since we met and PLENTY of times servers ASSUMED WRONG such as bringing the check without asking, bringing a refill or condiment we didn’t order, etc.

    Thank you it’s the only video I could find with my daughters curl pattern and a texlax and not a relaxer because I just wanna loosen her curls a little bit because her hair gets so knotty and tangles and shrinks so bad I love it but she is 12 learning to do her own hair and have difficulty because of her curls being so tight they intertwine and gets so tangled even after brushing out the tangles

    I insist on a waitress that has no tongue piercing, nose piercing, lip piercing, booger ring, purple or orange hair, or any other facial hardware. After that, the tip is commensurate with the service I get.

    got back to work as a server after a decade out of the industry. these are really good tips.... especially concerning greeting your tables quickly. if you are already in the weeds and a 6 top sits down and you feel like it's too much, the best thing you can do for yourself and them is to AT LEAST say ''hey, i'll be right with you guys'' and to no surprise, you will be back to them quicker than you would have been previously, and they feel seen. go grab some waters for the table while you think over your other tables. be personable and compassionate.. BE YOURSELF

      have you been a server before? do you know what it’s like? instead of complaining about us making too much why don’t you advocate to make more yourself doing whatever it is that you do? doesn’t every working individual deserve to make enough survive? i make $2.15 an hour as a waitress. so if everyone had that mindset of “not tipping” I wouldn’t be able to survive on that pay.

    I am careful about drink refills because our cups are big and even when people ask for a refill, they usually don’t drink it. Then I have to dump it (which is waste) and I carried heavy drinks for nothing. I shudder when people say waters for the table, knowing there will be at least 6 full cups when it’s time to bus

    • @Springs133
      @Springs133 10 місяців тому

      I ask even if I’m not near finished cause ice melts. I can taste a HUGE difference in a fresh new refill and a soft drink or tea that’s been sitting for 25 or more minutes. So I don’t care about waste and you shouldn’t care since you want to make your customers happy.

      @@woneitaharriott9366 every place is different. I applied at a casino and was hired a month ago and I’m still waiting for my back ground check to clear. On the other hand I got hired at a deli and she asked if I could stay and train during the interview. Smile a lot while being interviewed and watch lots of videos on how to be a sever you can practice holding plates at home . Get your food handlers card and alcohol training done now all these little things will make you more desirable to a potential employer. This is one of those jobs you can make a lot of money in but you got to take it serious. Good luck 🍀

    My biggest and best tip is to anticipate all your guests needs (if they’re glass is half full bring them a refill without them having to ask) and never taking your job too seriously (have fun and enjoy your time there and it will ensure they have a good time during their visit as well)!

    I always try to make my table laugh at one point in their dining experience. I make a very conscious point of asking people if they need a bag if they have boxed food. "Can I get you a bag for your boxes?" Guests, "oh yes please." Me, "paper, plastic, or the ones under my eyes."

But one of my best friends would always tell me how much she would tell herself “Everybody loves me, everybody wants to be my friend” and was shocked at how much it made people just swoon over here?! It was like her energy and aura amplified each time she spoke it out, that manifestation is real!
