for many: anticapitalist music sounds like a kind of satire of normal forms and modes. Mark stewart: asked ok well why does it so rarely stray far from those forms then? the emotional/thematic ideas presented by the music reflect the existential horror of a late capitalist hellscape. the music is as terrifying and volatile as our reality.
