Brilliant stuff, all of this. "Waiting For Margaret To Go" especially is so much more filled with soul and feeling than I expected from a musical piss-take. Cheers, and on with the show.
@@moveslikemacca Er...no. Many working class people loved her. Presumably they are all idiots in your book. But you're clearly not very aware so maybe not?
at least her son Mark Thatcher was cool, when he wasn't getting lost in the desert on one of his car rallies he was only selling arms to the Argentinians during the Las Malvinas conflict when mumsy was re-invading it for Ol' Blighty ;-)
I have to admit I didn't (and I can't now because Chumba deleted it on the day of her death after sending out the presale orders). It's just that most of the posts of the EP here are made from MP3s, which puts gaps at the beginning and end of a song, but this is from FLACs, which don't when they're done well.
I know that the Chumbas were feminists and egalitarians and free-thinkers and in favour of all human rights like me but did they really have to sing 'waiting for Margaret to go, ho!' ? ;-) probably yes

10 years and she's still 6 feet under! Sun is out on such a happy day!
"The problem with pissing on my grave is that eventually you run out of piss." -Margret 'The Wicked Bitch' Thatcher
He drinks a whisky drink, he drinks a lager drink...
The fact that this exists and the story behind it gives me unparalleled joy
the Chumbas had bollocks, especially the women members (I speak metaphorically of course) ua-cam.com/video/pXmnqUE-Ob0/v-deo.html
I've never heard a more innovative band! Breathtaking!
man I wonder if chumbawamba and they might be giants being my first experience to music at 9 had made me the leftist I am today
after all, the communists have the music
I love how they could see the future and pronosticated the announce of Prince Philip´s Dead on a Techno Track

Oh well, at least she's keeping warm now where she's gone. No fuel tax for Maggie. 😈

probably yes
I don't think they intended that as anything more than getting a second note out of "go."

@eyevocal oh I think they did.
she was hated beyond words, rightly so
