Thanks, Baker! I did watch yesterday and IMO those parents are heroes! They stopped at nothing to find their daughter! They did not even know that place was a crime scene! On the short 911 call we got to hear, her dad said a possible kidnapping or s*x trafficking, never mentioned a crime scene. The defendant tampered the crime scene! It blows my mind during a trial like this when everyone is fighting to solve the crime, and there is only ONE PERSON in that courtroom that knows the truth, because the other person who knows the truth is gone! And, he just sits there, like, whatever! If he wants any chance at a lower charge, his only option is to take the stand! I don’t think he will, and if he doesn’t, that’s on him! Jasmine’s family has already filed a civil suit on Chen’s family. I feel like this jury will totally agree with the steps that the parents took when they couldn’t get help fast enough. If it happened to one of my kids, I would have done the same! That is our role as parents to protect our children as perfectly as we can! That’s my 2 cents for y’all! Always remember, Baker, you’re my favorite! P.s. when I was watching the confirmation hearings, my Mom asked if I let you know that that was the reason I wasn’t on your stream?😂. Thanks Baker. I couldn't watch today, so appreciate your perspective. I'm also interested to hear from some medical people, as the witnesses I saw earlier haven't presented a very clear story one way or the other. I think her not wanting to get him to hospital urgently has caused alot of concern, but I know someone who was furious with me for calling an ambulance, so if you know someone really doesn't want professional care, it can be difficult. I don't get a good feeling from anyone at the Defence table, but so far I agree with you that there's reasonable doubt. Bring on the treating physicians!
