Dorian Gray isnt a but the prose is so magnificent, well written novel, great satire of society and human vanity. Oscar Wilde is feeding us great quotes pages after pages....

How do you make a whole video looking at yourself?

I saw her book "Everything all at once" at my school library and I borrowed it. When I came home with the book I finished it in three days, before the week even ended. It's like her books --no matter what the theme is-- they're just so addicting

I read Wuthering Heights some years ago and found myself repulsed by it. Just recently, I reread it, determined to give it another chance. I think, looking back, that my own life was in such turmoil at the time of my first reading, that I was unable to fully understand the book. As you mentioned, it is so often held up as a great love story and that is not what it is at all. It's a horrible love story, but a masterwork of obsession and revenge. I am so glad I decided to give it another chance. As for Uncle Silas, I had to stop the video at the moment I learned you were going to speak about Uncle Silas. I am reading it right now and enjoying it immensely. I first read Carmilla, which I also enjoyed and I'm looking forward to reading more of Le Fanu's works.

All signed books. (it has some bad reviews but I have gotten 4 out of 4 of my orders so far.)

I’m 2/3s and liking all of it so far. I like how the story keeps teasing there is more going on along the way! Great video (shame the audio is out of synch) P.S.-I know nothing about the Jane Eyre version.

I feel like I was the only one who was meh about it, I had such high hopes for this book , but once i reached the ending i felt so unsatisfied..the plot itself had potential but it just flatlined near the mid end. I Wish there was another part to it,it left so much unanswered questions

!!SPOILER WARNING!!: just finished the book literally a few minutes ago lol and came on here to see how everyone else felt about it. I actually thought was there gonna be a sequel or something based off of the ending. I just feel unfinished. I really loved her friendship with Sadie and Alana i think is her name and i loved her bookshop cafe job and now im like but wait DID HER MOM DIE???? cus Jemima says her mom wont wake up she is going for a long sleep. and then like what happens the next day?? people find out about it and now theres 2 dead people at this house i mean does she get possessed?? idk

I really need to read Phantom of the Opera. Somehow it wasn't even on my goodreads list. I couldn't get into Rebecca, which makes me sad, because I really expected to like it. Dracula is one of my favorites of all time!

This was a great list. I'd never heard of the Kristen Callihan books, and now I'm really curious to try them. Also The Historian...but it looks huge and sounds creepy!

Hey 👋🏻 I found you through the FB Booktube group, I love the way you express yourself, I totally agree that it’s none of anybody’s business what books a person buys. I personally think that when someone criticizes a person for something they buy it’s because they would like to have that same thing but can’t afford it 🤷🏻‍♀️ I get most of my books for free or buy them from ThriftBooks, I’m a cheapskate but I don’t send hate to anyone for buying what they want to buy, that will be stupid and a waste of my time.
