Sooo I’m coming back to this video and disliking. Your video is not covering a large basis of users. Between those who buy gaming laptops, prebuilt desktops or even build their own many times these devices aren’t optimized to how they should be running. I’ve used videos before for specific games when I have run into problems the difference in fps is massive.

I love when DLSS are in games, it lets my play with higher graphics quality without going below 60 fps. When I play in native 1440p it can sometimes drop unless I turn down graphics. My favourite DLSS mode is balanced. I have a rtx 3060 12gb

Well I did that for the bo6 beta and got 50 extra fps from it so it works for me (+ fortnite 3 years ago looked like shit on my computer and I tweaked a few things there and that fixed it)

Someone gave me this info so I’ll pass it to you - install the gerforce experience beta if you use an Intel gpu. The beta surprisingly functions way better than the normal GeForce experience and no more bullshit bugs. Once you do that all your drivers will function better and you will be able to use shadowplay and access the settings which a lot of people are unable to do using the normal GeForce experience.

0 is like "nearest neighbor" it will deform the image, something low but depending on the resolution like 20 or 40 will look better, use the desktop to see the sweet spot

i only play games on Highest quality in Nvidia Control Panel , it just brings textures to life , things like Reflections and water definitely have a difference in realism , i saw that back in the day with GTA 4 already , the middle setting Was a bit faster in rendering , but these days it doesn't matter quality over performance and as you can see , it doesn't do much at all for performance , changing that setting , that's why i always put on the Highest strait away in Global and leave , so all games adopt the setting it Really makes a big difference in immersion , the way the game looks , i'm betting people with HDR screens , who've never ''dared to'' try the highest setting , will just Kick Them Selves when they See the difference it's just night and day it's like you where playing a damn cartoon on QUALITY setting , when you turned it to HIgh Quality , the lighting especially , from stationary and moving objects , shadows , you name it , everything is effected and looks more authentic , actual , substance behind the characters , the entire view of the game changes

You seem to be missing something potentially VERY important. That is setting the 'nvdrsdb0.bin' and 'nvdrsdb1.bin' files(by default in 'C:\ProgramData\NVIDIA Corporation\Drs\') to READ-ONLY mode after making any changes as games can override settings. This ensures the settings stick and are forced to work. There are also other factors to consider such as rising heat of hardware(and also room temperature) on subsequent runs, and the fact that after starting a game once already, it will load up faster/run smoother the next startup as a lot of it is in memory(can reset that manually for example using ISLC). The room temperature thing isn't so easily fixable.

Before you read below im using my airpod to listen to this multiple times to give you my best opinion Baseline Test the condenser mic sound like your talking into the mic as if your talking in a quiet room the dynamic mic sound like an actually mic where it sound like the voice is directly in the mic without any kind of echo IMO: this one the dynamic mic wins Noise Test The condenser mic definitely is louder and better at capturing sound as I can hear sirens and keyboard as well as voices while the dynamic mic is can also hear sirens but more quiet and the keyboard sound is far less noticeable making the dynamic mic better at background noise cancellation Gaming Test Condenser mic sounds more clearer and denser than the dynamic mic while the difference isn't big but dynamic mic can sound more quiet can if you don't speak into the mic close enough there can be come muffled words that may occur IMO: condenser mic wins

What most of these guys tell you is to set everything to high performance and such, which is not only bad but it's going to ruin your hardware much faster than normal. You don't want your rig to be constantly running at 100% as these guys tell you to. This is why AUTO is actually your best friend.

It varies which game as well fps titles such as CS, Val etc benefit from lower latency with these settings turned off 1-3ms which isn't noticeable unless you know what to feel/look for. Other games that aren't competitive sure, They don't need optimizations but for instance my 3070 I9 12900K, 6K MHZ DDR5 can push 750 in valorant ranked lobbies and 1.3k in a range looking at a sky of course 750 being on a high end and going between 550-750 which is perfect for my 540hz monitor which gives me the lowest latency with frames that can maintain the monitor on a mid tier build. TL;DR: Competitive FPS yes it matters other titles not so much.

You’re right about the misinformation surrounding tuning. I recently tried out NVIDIA’s free tuning app, which is still in beta. I installed it because I wanted to see what it could do. After setting it up, I played COD and noticed some stuttering. I couldn’t figure out why, but I followed the app’s recommendations for the game settings. Later, while adjusting my FPS settings, I saw that the NVIDIA app had enabled on-demand texture streaming. This feature actually reduced my frames and caused lag, which is why I was experiencing that stuttering. So, I uninstalled the app. It wasn’t worth it. I’ll stick to in-game settings and NVIDIA’s default settings, which seem to work best for me.
