Make this Delicious coleslaw
This video holds a special place in my heart for several reasons. It marks my first-ever remote shoot, filmed at my sister’s house in Maine, with her by my side as my assistant. You’ll hear her voice throughout the video, adding a personal touch.
But what truly makes this video unique is that I’ve dedicated it to my mother. The main reason for my visit to Maine was to hold a memorial service with my siblings in honor of our mom, who passed away last December after a long battle with dementia.
Family means everything to us, so my sister also organized a family reunion that same afternoon. I volunteered to bring coleslaw, and this video captures the result of that effort. The coleslaw is a clone of the one from a certain popular chicken fast-food chain, and I’m proud to say it turned out well enough that I think even the Colonel would have been pleased.
Recipe
1 head, or 8 cups, finely chopped Cabbage
1 large carrot, finely chopped
1 small/medium onion, finely chopped
1 cup Mayonaise
1/2 cup Buttermilk of buttermilk substitute
1/2 cup whole milk
2/3 cup sugar
5 TBS Lemon juice
3 TBS White Vinegar
1 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

The is an AI created song all about ME, The Gringo Baker. I did is as just a fun exercise and then decided to make it a video and share it with you. I like older country...so that's the style. Let's make Mac & Cheese
Переглядів 35Місяць тому
This Macaroni and cheese is nothing at all like the boxed stuff you can get at the supermarket. For one thing, you can pronounce the name of every ingredient! For another, it's baked in the oven to give it a crunchy top and blended flavors. You can make it as wet or dry as you like...I like it on the dryer side so I use a bit less milk when I make it. If you make it, let me know in the comments...
Beer batter bread

If you're looking for a bread that is very easy to make, this is it! There's also an added bonus....it's delicious! Mix the ingredients, put them in a 5x9 loaf pan and bake in a 375 degree oven for about an hour and you've made bread in less than two hours, start to finish! It's a very moist, dense, bread that would pair well with soup or stews. Ingredients: 3 cups all purpose flour 1 12-ounce ...
Let's Make Cinnamon Raisin Bread!

Raisin bread takes about the same effort as plain bread....so why not make raisin bread? It's so tasty, especially with melted butter! The actual effort involved with making bread isn't a lot...the only real work is kneading, and even that isn't difficult once you do it a time or two. However, making bread does take time because of waiting for the bread to rise twice. The effort and the wait ar...

I'd guess you could do either. And it's funny, but even though I commented on the onion smell when we were making it, and truthfully, we found out later that we used a LOT more onion than the recipe I had originally called for, and I I don't think it was particularly noticeable in the taste.

If you mean, "could you dump the raw onions and potatoes in and cook them in a the crockpot and then add the other ingredients?", I guess you could. It would not taste the same though because the onions weren't caramelized, plus you'd still need to fry the salt pork. It doesn't seem like a time saver to me. Thanks for your comment.
