Marvel Rivals: The Game-Changer For Hero Shooters
Hey everyone while I work on bigger projects I wanted to talk about Marvel Rivals for some time. It isn't a review but it is something I felt deserved to have a deeper conversation more than anything about it being an Overwatch clone. I believe it can set a new standard that can redefine the hero shooter genre with its incredibly strong foundation of diverse heroes. Level design and such I want to see this game grow and I plan to dedicate more videos covering it for some time. The game isn't perfect by any means but for it to improve it's important to understand what it's trying to do. So I hope you enjoy thank you for all the support.

Alan Wake 2: The Lake House - A Perfect Ending To A Perfect Era
Переглядів 11 тис.Місяць тому
Hello Everyone Alan Wake 2 is one of the best games I've ever played in my eyes. While I want to explore all of that in depth on a later date in the way of long-form content, with the Lake House DLC being the final content drop of the game I couldn't pass on the opportunity to not talk about it in some capacity. And I believe it's the perfect ending chapter to the perfect era. I hope you all en...
Why Apex Legends Will Never Reach Its Full Potential: A Deep Dive

Hello everyone this video was a long time coming. I have a complicated relationship with Apex Legends, So making a deep dive to reflect on the game, the potential it had and how it feels likes that potential is wasted feels right. Trying to explore what went wrong with the game. Having been a day one player I've seen and been through the game's ups and downs, highs and lows. I have been wanting...

I am in no way bashing Dunkey. I am presenting what I find wrong with his criticisms. I am not in no way saying they don't have merit But to me, it came across he never saw the games for what they really brought to the table, At the franchise peak through the mid to late 2010s. I keep getting sent this video by multiple peers of mine and It frustrates me this is being used as a "valid' argument...

Hello, Forspoken is a game that has stood out to me for the last couple of years. I needed to make a video on it. It's ideas are strong and bold and you all should know I love movement/parkour. And honestly in the end the game does deliver on that but it doesn't kick off the ground in the best way Music Isn't owned by me and created by Bear McCreary · Garry Schyman for Forspoken. #forspoken #sq...

@@EFLO3D maybe…
Terrible servers, EOMM, 98% of the content being cosmetics or mediocre LTMs, ranked not being worth the grind, cheaters, and over excess of weapons are whats killing the game. The biggest one is the cosmetics. EA has made BILLIONS off Apex but where does that money go besides their pockets and towards more skins? If Apex is to survive they need to take some of that money and actually put it into IMPROVING the game, but they wont. Mark my words.
No, it is not. I played the game and the combat is super fun, the enemy variant is amazing, most of the level designs are gorgeous and amazing to mess around in. But there are a plethora of little nitpicks that built up over my experience. Phasing through latter, going a mile when jumping in a direction which is completely infuriating during crucial platforming segments, phasing through ropes, a terrible fast travel system, gimmicks in two different biomes that don’t allow you to use your damn camps, no manual save to save whenever you’re not near a camp, not being able to speed through dialogue in NG+, Stiff and boring cutscenes with characters just nodding and repeating the same dialogue animations, and what’s worse than watching those cutscenes, not being able to skip those cutscenes. Again, it seems like im nitpicking, and i am, but with so many little issues with the game, it starts to build up. And PS is asking for $70… for a studio’s first ever console release. What a joke. I would not care about half of these issues i have with the game, if it wasn’t for the fact that I paid 70 bucks.
@@sinwalker_gaming you make some good points i feel similarly about the nitpicks however i do want to see more games like this so im a bit happy to support it if at all possible so they can improve. But you are in the right to be annoyed by those things.
@ silver lining is if the game goes on sale, i definitely recommend playing it. Im happy the studio is thriving. The game is so much fun regardless of what i said. But i don’t recommend buying the game at full price, as that will give PS the idea that they can mark up games of lesser quality and sell them to us, or we will have another Seller Blade situation where the gameplay is great, but the game as a whole is still messing and half baked in some aspects.
I love Remedy so much. ❤
Alan Wake 2 is perfect
7:15 BOBO💯💯💯🥶🥶🥶🔥🔥🔥🗣🗣🗣
Can’t wait for control 2
I tried a lot of times to get into apex but man I don't want to play this for a LOT of reasons
Nice video dude but i think u missed an important part wich is in the archive section when u shift the reality by disabling the lights and then u find a light cord in the office in the center of the archive and when u pull the cord 3 times u enter the ocean view motel and u meet dylan (jesse faden's brother) and u talk to him
Oh it was intentional. I briefly mentioned floor 4 but I didn’t wanna dedicate another 10 minutes going over that as that time can be spent for another video I have planed going over the game as a whole in the future. Thank you for the support.
Former sweaty Wattson main, hit master multiple times and spent hundreds of hours on the game. Nothing hits like Apex did a few years ago but they’ve managed to throw everything down the shitter over and over again until today where I don’t even want to look at the game anymore. Sometimes I get that urge to come back but then I remember why I left and just can’t bring myself to do it.
greatvideo
Best BR out there ngl
Did anyone have a disappointing final fight? I started it with minimal HP as I ran out of healing items. This made me loose my will to fight after taking a hit as I was expected to lose the run anyway. Also I died many times and had to attempt it 10+ times as I was not allowed to make more than a few mistakes. I could not find any healing items in the room, so I had to learn the enemies movement patterns and eventually I was just dancing around her. I might still die if I got caught by the environment and had to try again. The repetition took away all sense of horror. I knew I was getting better and the enemy is not that difficult once you know what they are going to do. So in the end I beat her without too much difficulty. I think in perfect horror experience, you fight the boss 1-3 times and feel like you are being crushed, but just barely win it. You do not want to be able to (in my case forced to) run circles around it.
It is a phenomenal game, but the source engine had to catch up with it someday
And people say the parkour is bad lmao, way better than first game
5 years I state again 5 years. Do you even know how long that is in gaming. Apex didn't just fill it's potential it grew and survived longer than anyone could have imagined when it launched. It's a great game and it's still free to play. Well done respawn you are awesome for giving me 5 years of friendships ,fun and excitement. Imagine complaining about a free to play game.....sheeeeeesh I think the moment and gun play are so good you have forgotten what you have.
The intro to this video is me going over the things I love about the game including the shooting. No one is denying the game is good and what it accomplished for you. Glad it did that that’s great. But I believe you are downplaying my points because of this. As any game yes it evolved but look at where it devolved. How myself and other people in the comments have expressed ourselves. The points I made are layed out and critique the game BEYOND The battle royale experience. But if you can’t acknowledge that that’s your proactive.
Im bot sure i would have played this if it werent on gsme pass but im glad it was because i really enjoyed the buildcrafting rpg elements mixed with the brawler style of combat. It also was cool to unlock all the different lore things in the game. Not sure i 100% it but definitely got damn near close!
The effeminate voice is all need to know
Don’t trust what you think you know
I’m in the same boat dude. The game would probably be good but EA decided to start hiring convicted pedophiles
I just want to say that this is a very good video! Your analysis is amazing, the quality is amazing (both video and audio quality), the structure of the video is great, your voice is soothing and it's overall a great video. I didn't even know I was watching a small-ish channel's video, but you just earned a subscriber. Good job! Keep going❤
Thank you for the kind words this actually made my morning. 💙
Why do you have the most random controller binds lol
I have buttons in the back
I hate when the title has nothing to do with the video. Dude rambled for 10 minutes about the history of apex legends and I had to click away.
@@FollowerOfChrist144 I explored what apex is, my own thoughts on it and broke it down. Criticized it bit by bit beyond just a basic history breakdown. If you didn’t take anything from that. That’s fine.
Ea. The end.
Might buy it’s cheap as hell
I say goooo for it
honestly I like the feel of the movement more in the first dying light even though the variety in movement tech is just mashing the spacebar and sometimes using the tic tac skill, idk its just sometimes in the second game I feel like a brick being thrown through the air with no control
I feel like with the physical parkour mode there’s a lot more air control maybe to much
Although I liked this DLC for what it offered, ultimately, I did not expect this be a self contained side story that only slightly brushes on the main story. For DLC called "The Lake House", Sam Lake being the main writer of Alan Wake (naming being a meta narrative choice), I expected this to be a very significant DLC to the overall plot and its progression (like American Nightmare). It felt like a bit of a let down, truth to be told
well, American Nightmare was a whole separate game. I can see the developers acknowledging they were limited with what they could do given it's a DLC and made this. The game has a lot of meta big and small so It didn't come as a surprise for me that I didn't do much beyond a unique side story that puts us in the shoes of a FBC agent. I think that pretty cool way to enhance the overall world-building of these games. Something I'll cover in time perhaps I get wanting more but what it has is very strong for me
Amazing video! Ive played apex for a long time. Its the best shooter ive personally seen but one thing that ruins it? Matchmaking. This game gives level 2's and the highest ranked players in one pubs match. I mainly play mixtape now. Its more casual. But still, i love apex. Just make it more fair! 🙌 great job on the video tho! Keep up the awesome stuff!
Watch Dogs 2 soundtrack? Peak
ofc had to
Good video man. Just prepare for Dunkey to throw shade at you in a random video. He seems to love sliding those in for anyone that gives him a fair criticism.
thanks also I doubt it even reached him. Even though I do have problems with his criticisms. this is mainly just done in response to people who use his original video as a form of criticism when It shouldn't be. Would be shocking if it did reach him lol.
Nice SBM btw 🤣
I couldn't agree more with this video 1000%. Apex is now a money grabbing game. Netflix is making a show but will it be the same? Doubt it.
Think apex will never get a show
@berice4390 the rumor was Netflix wanted to make it a show. Kinda hope they don't do it. But I do miss the cinematic lore they used to give every season/event
Is the game closing or why I'm seeing so many farewells to the game, most of my recommendations are a farewell video
Just not living to its potential as I showcase in the video
its so funny [read: not] how they push up updates with bugs that 0.2 seconds of testing would show. last season they had wattson live with a tier 2 upgraed with fucked up text code on screen? this season her fast rez ability makes ur screen doa seizure inducing flip in the last few frames on animation? like is there NOBODY going in the firing range and having a single cursory glance at legends abilities before they launch??? not ONE??? its funny too ebcause if theres a shop bug it's pulled within HOURS, but wattsons upgrade text bug stayed even past the first patch to fix something else in the game a week or 2 into the split? its these little things that prove where resources are going in the company and what makes people hesitant to continue caring about the future of the game. like oh u cant even bother to fix something as simple as display text?
Oh yeah furthers my point of commitment to investors over players.
WOW, very nice Video!! Keep up the great Work
Thank you , I appreciate it. I always am finding ways to improve.
Control got a AW DLC, and AW2 gets a Control DLC.

you can just say EA

@ yeah I know but Jack cooper himself never used anything but cloak in the campaign
Mfw EA gets their grubby hands on another wonderful game and drives it into the ground, this video was cathartic
i just want arenas back
Everyone has to be gay for some reason
11:32 lol this is why a lot of people that would try older valve games would quit, they got sadge that they got rekt. So instead of learning, they just quit
I think what made apex so great for a lot of people is that its the middle ground between quake and something like battlefield. Twitch shooter, but not so twitch shooter that you'd need to be a god at tracking
8:12 Crypto's sister was mentioned last year during the Kill Code event, as she was working for Octane's dad to surveil the Legends. She collaborated with Crypto secretly by allowing him to decode the data drive they retrieved. Just dropping that missing tidbit, as the point still stands it's been over a year yet again with no development of the lore in this regard. Starving for story and they refuse to tie up loose threads.
Ahhhhhhh Yeah Easy to overlook these things appreciate it
10:55 this MF has 1810 wins in A SINGLE season. Season 5 went from May 12 to August 18. Thats 99 days flat. That means. This guy. Got 18.3 wins A DAY. A DAY. Bro id be happy if i win 18 games in a season but a single day? an average game of apex is 10-15 minutes. Lets say 15 cause he obviously survives long. that means even if he won every single game in that season he ever got in he played minimum 4 and a half hours a day. 5 and a half if we factor in matchmaking alone. That means if you won every game you ever played over the course of the entire season youd still need to play 6 hrs a day to even approach beating this guys wins in a single season: fing HOW. (maybe there was some random ltm that allowed you to farm wins? idk)
I think you missed the point of movement in apex. It's not just movement tech, it's the feel in general, everything is smooth, running, sliding, jumping, just the basics are 1000000x better than any shooter game, as well as the legends movement abilities. 95% of player do not use any fancy movement tech, but still love the basic movement.
I think I perhaps glossed over the basic movement a bit. However i said that movement is the skill gap, in the beginning of the video I talk about how the movement and gameplay genuinely feels and left it at that. 1) everyone should know the game feels good of course 2) movement tech is perhaps how I should’ve worded it but I think the it doesn’t discredit anything I said about it being a major skill gap of the game as a whole. And definitely influences how much a player enjoys a game
What a fukc do you want from EA? Are you stupid? Buy skins and play game, then buy more skins. What's so hard to understand?
The fact that they are also not expanding on the story aspect as much as i want them too... Apex / Titanfall has such a great lore that i believe they something like a Netflix series for.
