6:44 orichalcum armour is one the best ways to do this but the requires smithing 60 and you still need a somewhat good speech stat because even though it's one of the best ways to merch you just get so screwed over at low speech

At Halted Stream Camp, the hole with spikes is the secret way to get in. The book is next to the chief. Get the book and run to the spike hole then fast travel out.

I think you could definitely explain Vile's quest in role-playing (as well as some other quests) , but reward you'd have to get is the worst axe in the game anyways 😅

The soul trapping thing i do find as an exploit because your not getting the experience by using the soul trap spell as intended but summoning zero cost summons on the other hand, if you go to the ritual stone on ae and get the unding ghost spell then sneak behind a bandit fort and summon it the sound will allert the bandits but in sneak you can stop casting till the bandits deagro and keep doing so youll need to be aware of where the bandits are but its technically not exploding because you are gaining experience by summoning something in combat

Soul trap spamming is grinding imo. Same as power levelling other skills. I don't consider grinding to be a exploit.

I really like your videos, the challenge is interesting, your role-playing commentary is also fun. The only criticism I have is the amount of vocal fry in your voice, especially at the end of every sentence. i was just thinking, that choir song at the start, what is it? i feel like i've heard it before, but i dont recognise it...

few things to note. hero passive on mage can be used to farm mp infinitely. a few other archetypes like prince and masked dancer have similar types too. bosses having too many turns can be counteracted by using dodgers ring which makes a dodge consume all opponent turns. pair that with the third eye passive and it can dodge almost every turn with decent agility. highest streak in a row was 15 for me. fae sight can be used to track which door is correct in the skybound avatar maze.

The main thing I dislike about this battle system and the archetypes is the lack of information regarding future progression. By the time you get to late game it becomes VERY evident that a strength based build is the best because all the best archetypes use physical almighty damage, which can crit, and that the best archetype in the game for the mc is physical. Kinda frustrating when you've been playing the game for 50-60 hours and suddenly find yourself in the end game where your best archetype isn't doing enough damage because your character doesn't have enough strength. There should be a respec option or something, even if it's just for the mc.

Playing a "merchant" is my stealth archer. I play a merchant character almost every time, even when I don't mean to.
