It ain't got nothing on Launch. For about $850, you can get a Launch PRO3S+Elite. It has everything this scanner has, plus tons of other stuff that this scanner doesn't have. This thing doesn't even come close!! The Launch has 10.1" screen, can graph up to 12 individual data pids, it has topology, DLC voltage check, CANscope, CAN bus pin detect, a kickstand, 60 hot reset fucntions, dual Wi-Fi, the ability to diagnose heavy duty vehicles, remote diagnosis, more ECU coding capabilities both online and offline, several more optional add on modules, and a J2534 pass-through device. It also includes launch fix connector, which is a database that includes relevant repair cases, electronic circuits, wiring diagrams, TSBs, information on vehicle repairs, and DTC help. It smokes anything else on the market right now except for the Autel maxisys ultra, which costs over $4,000. There is not a more professional, more capable, more reasonably priced scanner on the market right now. Ebay has them for the low low as well as Ali Express. Don't buy them from Amazon because they are overpriced.

I've been looking at all sorts of tool box organization kits. Others try to get a away with one solution for multiple uses and don't quite like that. I like how you have tailored your stuff, plus it's a one stop shop. I will be ordering very soon. Keep up the good work!

Had mine since 2015 and still love it. Used everyday in a heavy duty diesel shop. I added the black trim as soon as it was available because the textured silver was a nightmare for me to keep clean. Funny enough I also have the same cart as you and also love it too.

these are awesome. I just got a set of the magnetic ratchet holders and I love em. I'm usually not a big fan of 3D printed parts but these are fairly sound for what they are

If you unbolt the stainless worktop there are hole locations marked on the underside of the work surface, just fyi for anyone that may do the same thing, awesome boxes for the money!

I’m getting my 72 tm I would be interested in your wrench holders to fit big wrench’s in these shallow drawers. I’m going to measure my current ones and see if they’ll even fit currently🥲

Would you say the quality is on par if not better than the ICON? seems to be a little more expensive. Also, did you contemplate the extreme toolboxes at all?

Nice review! For your wrench holders I wonder if you can make it so it holds them at an angle instead of straight up to clear the drawer. Would you consider drilling new holes for the shelf to make it work for you? Might not be as clean of an install but maybe use black bolts and nuts for cosmetics.

When I was at the dealer our Porsche store had these exact boxes that the dealer purchased for the store. All 72s with hutch’s. None of the guys had major issues with them. They have been there for over 5 years. I like these boxes and def looking into this or HF icon.

I just got my first Capri, a 15mm wavedrive. Used it on a seized control arm bolt. It couldn’t break it, but it was the only thing that would even grab the bolt after my impact rounded it off. It’s great.

I remember when I was in the industry my dealership only paid me 2.5 hours to chase an intermittent evap system code that took me 2 days to figure out. It was caused by the alarm guy clipping a wire going from the front wiring harness to the purge control valve. Literally held by a few copper strands of wire. Every time the vehicle would hit a small bump it would set. I feel like any other tech would just throw a new purge control valve at it and send them on their merry way.

Doesn’t work that same for domestic vehicles?

I had the exact same experience with that wrench holder design. I ended up designing my own with the dovetail slots oriented horizontal and that worked much better.

Your issue with LR3 is due to incorrect ignition setting. You need to hold the start button on the car for 4-5 sek, then release. In this mode you can scan all systems.

I have the D1 Pro and like it quite a bit. Very capable for the price. One thing I don’t like is that it uses a barrel plug for charging rather than USB C.

Tbh the Better mechanics, the more workload u get. In return u get stressed out, and miserable...😂 and yes u want to leave, Here in the Uk , is the same problem for Techs., probably a world wide problem,, with a Big "master " technician shortage..

I have the same problem on my 2015 jk I bought Flip kit, aluminum RPM it been 6 months that I’m dealing with this issue my car wonder all over the freeway, especially when I go over 70 miles
