if you want to go somewhere closer to home, the Lee Kong Qian Natural History Museum has dinosaur skeleton also! there is also one sperm whale skeleton, which the carcass was found in Singapore. hehe, they are kinda cool. the museum is really not bad, a lot of specimen.

As someone who has always been praised for being “honest, authentic, true to yourself”, this was validating. It wasn’t until my 20’s that I realized the majority of people are walking around and misrepresenting who they really are on a daily basis. There are some good deep dives into the social contracts of cringe culture that are very enlightening. I really think this fear of the cringe is killing innovation and authenticity with Gen Z art. I really hope there’s a course correction because I know they are capable of creating great things if they allow themselves to.

as an autistic person i also hate mysterious people… i can barely pick up on the signals of people who are extremely straightforward, why would i want to put myself through trying to understand someone who is intentionally being mysterious!

Monthly patreon (for cut stuff that are funny or some other stuff) 2. Merch (I feel like y’all will have great ones and I’d get it) 3. Sponsorship deals (tomboyx is sponsoring Shannon’s exes and oh’s podcast. So probably look for lgbtqa+ brands that have the money and want to establish it around Asian market) 4. Twitch I heard is good payout but I fear it may just be another hassle unless y’all drop TikTok and ig lives 5. Hey! Thanks for allowing yourself to be vulnerable so all of us can have a safe space like this! I'm not a Christian, actually I'm Buddhism. My whole life, I never experience any religion trauma until I come to the US for educational purpose. The town that I currently live is conservative (and racist). It's full of many white people with strong belief on Christianity and my two roommates are so religious. One day, we had a conversation about my sexuality (I'm lesbian by the way) and being gay is wrong according from Bible). At that time, I felt so alone and sad by not being accept by people. This is the first time of my life that I felt so traumatized by religion and it's not even what I believe in (what the freak lol). Right now, I overcome it and am proud of myself again. Strongly agree with everything you've said. I believe in CRITICAL THINKING than other things. I respect individuals' spiritual but it shouldn't oppress other genders (men vs women or straight vs gay) or conflict with basic human right.

Love the outfits in this episode! As always, I truly enjoy TOL's honest opinions and insights about the local LGBT community and every topic you guys cover. As an introvert, meeting new people is daunting, so I rarely join any community. It’s hard to find like-minded opinions. I have close friends to talk to, but they often jump straight into providing solutions, which makes me feel like I'm standing alone in a desert without navigation. Then I found this podcast-it was like discovering a constellation while feeling lost. For example, when you guys mentioned sometimes all we need is a little sympathy and support, I felt truly understood (Me inside: ya??? ikr??? sympathy >>> solutions). Anyway, I just want to say that I really appreciate the effort you guys put into making every episode happen, covering topics like love, friendship, family, trauma, astrology, etc. Oh, and happy 1-year anniversary to TOL! <3
