Hey man congratulations. New sub here. Can’t wait to see how the build goes! Just be aware of the oil temps and the csc as it tend to go out randomly. As well as no syncro rev match which you don’t need all so you just got it learn how to rev match which isn’t hard at all. But man I wish you the best for this build and do it for the guy that passed way and for your grandpa. Can’t wait to see how it comes together!

I had the same issue with mine, I've done lots of diy so if had to fix lots of boost leaks but if ur not planning on ever removing it unless it brakes or something. I used high heat resistant silicone (and yes you can remove it, its just going to be a pain in the ass and a lot of patience and time) to basically shut it from leaking boost and from blowing off of my intercooler, I'm currently peaking 22 and pushing 20-21 psi on stock turbo so its lots of pressure and its handling like a champ! but honestly I feel you the amount of boost leaks I had to fix due to pipes being blown off was insane, it almost made me want to put in metal pipes and weld everything in place LOL

In my opinion, perfect GTI sound. Loud but not obnoxiously loud. I think I'm sold on the exhaust. I want one for mine. The valvetronic system would come in handy for me as well when I am on the highway and cruising. Awesome video :)

I just recently did my mk6 in satin black. It took me about 40 to 45 hours because I decided to switch from a gti front bumper to a golf r. I didn't have much trouble as I did the same and went with avery wrap. The front bumper took by far the longest. Nice side skirts btw I have the same.
