I don’t understand these comments. Hes pitchy as hell and his voice is atrocious. Saw him live with bush last week and he was whiny , flat, then sharp then strained so much that he had to stop singing. I’m usually not a shit talker but Jerry could have got a waaaay better singer than this dude. And as a Soundgarden fan, if this guy ever sung for SG, Chris would roll over in his grave. This dude is nothing close to Chris and should never be compared to him in any instance.

I gotta say, Greg put forth a worthy rendition. Weird, I kinda wanted him to blow. I was and shall remain a die-hard Layne Staley FANatic. To classify him as a "singer" is like saying fire is warm. He poured his soul into every note. If you were listening, you didn't just hear him sing, you felt it. I never got to see him live.....Damn.
