I’ll update! Day 1: So for context, my parents are homophobic, but my friends support me 100%. ❤️ Day 2: When I came home from school, my dad looked at me weirdly but didn’t say anything. I don’t know what he was thinking, LMAO. By the way, I haven’t told them I’m bisexual. But I have told my mom a few months ago that I kind of liked this girl because she was really pretty. When I told her, she didn’t say anything. Day 3: My English teacher brought up queer theory again today, and my classmates (even the anti-LGBTQ ones) were pretty chill with it. Day 4: Last night, my mom and I were talking about the lore for a fandom I was really interested in. When I mentioned so-and-so’s wife, my mom got confused and thought the female main character had a wife despite being married to a man, LMAO. I told her no, she misunderstood. But I like how she was chill about it. Day 5: Nothing much. Day 6: My English teacher was talking about this poet that we were studying and how there were rumors that he was possibly bisexual. One time, my classmate said, “They’re just haters!” But this time, no one said anything. So that’s a good sign! Day 7: This is awesome! For a Spanish project, one group in my class made a video where they acted a romance/dramedy involving a lesbian couple. And they were all guys acting as so, which is even funnier! 😂 It’s surprising because they treated it quite normally when I originally thought they were homophobic. Week 2: My dad said something about me preferably marrying a rich man, which is kinda concerning. But whatever. Week 3: Nothing. Week 4: I was talking to my mom about progress in our society, and she agreed that there were groups of people who needed more rights, so this is a good sign! Month 4: Back to listening to this!
