I think a large part is nostalgia. The feel. The sounds. The graphics.. a lot of people want to re live that first feeling of online gaming on console back in the day. Today it’s normal. Back then. It was new.

i feel you had to be there, it was a great time to be a halo player, a gamer in general, no contenent blocked behind season pass, no overchaged DLC, no FOMO, great menus, great music, great matchmaking, the feel, the comunity, this kind of thing takes you back, also the playlist were better, in MCC there is very limited game modes for every game (1,2,3,4,AND REACH) cause they had to fit multiple game modes from the diferent titles, but they left some out.

Yes. There’s a soft mod that you upload to replace the Xbox service. Lots of great tutorials out there to help get you going.

It also works with the Xbox emulators which is nice if you don’t have your og Xbox still.

Nightdive does a pretty good job on most of the remakes. An honestly. You can only do so much with a remake. I’d love to see the other series on a different engine true to the series. The jump from 1 to 2 was mind blowing with the voodoo2 card running it

That’s more than fair. And dark forces 2 was so good with the lightsabers and the third person view. And I remember being blown away buy the graphical jump on that release! “Graphics can’t get any better “

I have a lot of fun showing my son games I played when I was his age and telling him how mind blowing the n64 was when it came out. heck, dark forces looked amazing when star fox snes was the pinnacle of realism to me lol. Indiana jones and the infernal machine is another incredible early 3d game by lucasarts. One of my all time favorites

i find its worth it, ill pay for the nostaliga hit, and if people keep buying them, theyll keep making them.. it sucks buying them again, but no ones being forced.

Pc version was good. But the Xbox version got lots of love which was nice to see man. They added the additional level at the beginning also.
