    >>The JesusSHIFT IS HERE! Worldwide Reign of Christianity (for >994 years) is Here! Psalm72 KING JESUS is here. It will happen through HIS Incarnate. HE will implement The HEART Of GOD in Isaiah 2, 11, 41, 43, 47, 49, 53, 54-Me, 59, 65; Jeremiah 1:10; Zephaniah 2:11; Ezekiel 36-37 for Me; Psalms 2 and 72, Haggai to Zechariah 6; etc. At the early months of this period, MILLIONS of wicked people shall die [about 5 Billions] and all systems (political establishments, religions of force and murder, etc) that hinder people from fleeing to JESUS shall be removed. Almost All GOD-seeking Muslims and all other people shall flee to JESUS during this time. Meditate on the cited scriptures, especially Isaiah 2. >>This 994 to 8000 or more years period of Psalm72 KING JESUS is a Gift to Me from DADDYGOD. Almost all Israelis shall flee to JESUS (Become serious Christians); GREAT JESUS TEMPLE [Apostolic Christian Church Building] shall be erected at The original position of The Solomon's Temple. There will be Jesus-measure peace around The World. [Unfortunately after this time, the 🌎World shall become very decadent again, leading to The Revealing of AntiChrist and The Rest of The Book Of Revelation]. BUT For Now, The ONE-TRUE GOD-JESUS is STANDING Up to answer HIS persecutors and mockers!!! The SHOW is On!!! It's Mount-Carmel ShowDOWN (1Kings 18) at Millions of MT-Carmels in This MY 🌎WORLD! It's Mount-JESUS ⛪ CHURCH EXTRAVAGANZA on Earth! It's JesuCRACY Imperative!!! Hallelujah! 1) Tigris and Euphrates Rivers shall overflow again 2) Israel shall have all the piece of land given to her by God in Holy Bible Genesis. 3) Sahara Desert shall become SaharaJESUS, a new LARGE Nation to be founded abd located where sand dunes now exist. 4) Other blessings.

1:36 “Damnable heresy”? Salvation is by the grace of God, through faith. True faith yields true works. It has quite literally ALWAYS been this, unless you somehow think your denomination is somehow better informed than the oldest of Christian branches like Roman Catholicism, Greek Orthodoxy, the Assyrian church of the East, or even Oriental Orthodoxy.

I'm looking for a modern Bible. 1. It should begin with the Geneva Bible. (Hopefully, upsetting kjv onlyists. ) 2. It should contain all the original Geneva Bible margin comments in modern English. 3. It should carefully fix the old Testament using the Old Testament Septuagint + Dead Sea Scrolls, not the Masoretic Text. 4. It should carefully fix the new Testament using the Majority Text(Byzantine). Editors should have a similar philosophy as the LSB/WEB Bible. 5. Decent leather. I don't want a paperback or hardcover. 6. Center column reference 7. Passage headings. 8. No tabs on the side to help find books of the Bible. I know where they are. I think some of the Geneva Bible comments would upset some people.

Iesus said unto them, Behold a new law I give unto you, which is not new but old. Even as Moses gave the Ten Commandments to Israel after the flesh, so also I give unto you the Twelve for the Kingdom of Israel after the Spirit. 8. For who are the Israel of God ? Even they of every nation and tribe who work righteousness, love mercy and keep my commandments, these are the true Israel of God. And standing upon his feet, Jesus spake, saying: 9. Hear O Israel, JOVA, thy God is One; many are My seers, and My prophets. In Me all live and move, and have subsistence. 10. Ye shall not take away the life of any creature for your pleasure, nor for your profit. nor yet torment it. 11. Ye shall not steal the goods of any, nor gather lands and riches to yourselves, beyond your need or use. 12. Ye shall not eat the flesh, nor drink the blood of any slaughtered creature, nor yet any thing which bringeth disorder to your health or senses. 13. Ye shall not make impure marriages, where love and health are not, nor yet corrupt yourselves, or any creature made pure by the Holy. 14. Ye shall not bear false witness against any, nor wilfully deceive any by a lie to hurt them. 15. Ye shall not do unto others, as ye would not that others should do unto you. 16. Ye shall worship One Eternal, the Father-Mother in Heaven, of Whom are all things, and reverence the holy Name. 17. Ye shall revere your fathers and your mothers on earth, whose care is for you, and all the Teachers of Righteousness. 18. Ye shall cherish and protect the weak, and those who are oppressed, and all creatures that suffer wrong. 19. Ye shall work with your hands the things that are good and seemly; so shalt ye eat the fruits Of the earth, and live long in the land. 20. Ye shall purify yourselves daily and rest the Seventh Day from labour, keeping holy the Sabbaths and the Festival of your God. 21. Ye shall do unto others as ye would that others should do unto you. 22. And when the disciples heard these words, they smote upon their breasts, saying: Wherein we have offended. O God forgive us: and may thy wisdom, love and truth within us incline our hearts to love and keep this Holy Law. 23. And Jesus said unto them, My yoke is equal and my burden light, if ye will to bear it, to you it will be easy. Lay no other burden on those that enter into the kingdom, but only these necessary things. 24. This is the new Law unto the Israel of God, and the Law is within, for it is the Law of Love, and it is not new but old. Take heed that ye add nothing to this law, neither take anything from it. Verily I say unto you, they who believe and obey this law shall be saved, and they who know and obey it not, shall be lost. 25. But as in Adam all die so in Christ shall all be made alive. And the disobedient shall be purged through many fires; and they who persist shall descend and shall perish eternally. But there shall arise after you, men of perverse minds who shall through ignorance or through craft, suppress many things which I have spoken unto you, and lay to me things which I never taught, sowing tares among the good wheat which I have given you to sow in the world. Then shall the truth of God endure the contradiction of sinners, for thus it hath been, and thus it will be. But the time cometh when the things which they have hidden shall be revealed and made known, and the truth shall make free those which were bound.

@RJ-nl8do here's the reality. America was founded on the Judeo/ Christian ethic. The founders respected Christianity, they looked to some of the scriptures for guidance. Now, were they true born again believers in Jesus Christ? No! A few were, most were not really Christian. They may have attended church services, and most did believe in God, but some picked and chose what they believed in the bible and ignored the rest. I am a born again believer who believes Jesus is the only way and the only true God, and the bible is the word of God from beginning to end. Also let's not get the idea America was founded on secular anti religious atheism. It was not. They held to biblical morals and a belief in God.

And many from the peoples of the country declared themselves Jews, for fear of the Jews had fallen on them. Esther 9:27 the Jews took it on themselves to establish the custom that they and their descendants and all who join them should without fail observe these two days every year, in the way prescribed and at the time appointed Isaiah 11 1-10 Chronicles 17 So many of the hebrew scriptures speak to the contrary without even going to the new testament so try again.

This presentation presents many of the strengths of the cessationist view (and fair critique of some of the Continuationists practices), but should not be mistaken for a robust, complete, or accurate scriptural view (as the interviewer seems to think). Regarding tongues, the speaker has not carefully worked his way through what Paul teaches and affirms in 1 Cor. 14, his understanding of biblical miracles in clusters is truish but overstated, and his early church history is inaccurate. Mainly though, he has overlooked or ignored clear biblical teaching that opposes his position. More careful Scripture study will reveal: there is no indication we should expect the gifts to end prior to Christ’s coming, we are warned to not despise them and are urged to use discernment, and all gifts bear the empowering imprint of the Holy Spirit (we should not be classifying some gifts as ongoing and others as ceasing). Let God be God and do His purposes. This accounts for all the data.

If Jesus is _building_ His church, which He is, then you would expect theological understanding to become more fleshed out as the centuries progress. The five solas are definitely grounded in biblical truth and understanding. Whereas Orthodox distinctives that are in conflict with the Bible include: -The equal authority of church tradition and Scripture -Discouragement of individuals interpreting the Bible apart from tradition -The perpetual virginity of Mary -Prayer for the dead -Baptism of infants without reference to individual responsibility and faith -The possibility of receiving salvation after death -The possibility of losing salvation

Go read Canon 24 of the Council of Carthage (A.D. 419).... It literally says: ---------------------------------------------------------- "That nothing be read in church besides the Canonical Scripture Item, that besides the Canonical Scriptures nothing be read in church under the name of divine Scripture. But the Canonical Scriptures are as follows: Genesis. Exodus. Leviticus. Numbers. Deuteronomy. Joshua the Son of Nun. The Judges. Ruth. The Kings, iv. books. The Chronicles, ij. books. Job. The Psalter. The Five books of Solomon. The Twelve Books of the Prophets. Isaiah. Jeremiah. Ezechiel. Daniel. Tobit. Judith. Esther. Ezra, ij. books. Macchabees, ij. books. The New Testament. - The Gospels, iv. books. - The Acts of the Apostles, j. book. - The Epistles of Paul, xiv. - The Epistles of Peter, the Apostle, ij. - The Epistles of John the Apostle, iij. - The Epistles of James the Apostle, j. - The Epistle of Jude the Apostle, j. - The Revelation of John, j. book. Let this be sent to our brother and fellow bishop, Boniface, and to the other bishops of those parts, that they may confirm this canon, for these are the things which we have received from our fathers to be read in church." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- One of the main things that determined whether a writing was to be considered as "Holy Scripture" was whether or not it was being read or used liturgically.

Listen, this idea that there were 3 periods of MEN working miracles and that ended with so and so, so now there has been a Cessation of the Holy Spirit is not taught in scripture. Jesus was not recorded having done any supernatural works until after He was given the Holy Spirit when He was baptized by John. The scripture says, "13 Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. 14 But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? 15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him. 16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him ..." Jesus told the Apostles what would happened when people "believed" the Gospel as they went out. Jesus said, " ... Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." The scripture then says something significant. It says, "And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following." Jesus indicated "believes" would have "signs" that followed them. Not certain guys who did miracles to prove the 1st Century Church was authentic ! That isn't even how God thinks ! In Acts 1, Luke recorded the commissioning in this way, "2 Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen..." It doesn't say MEN ie. Apostles who were assigned the power to do miracles. It was the Holy Spirit who empowered the believers in every case. Jesus went on to say, "4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. 5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence." Then Jesus said, "8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." Did Jesus say, I am going to have seasons like 3 epochs where I will asign certain people as miracle workers to lend credence to the early church. NO ! Jesus plainly said they would recieve POWER when the Holy Ghost came to them. We see what happens in Acts 2 when the Holy Spirit was poured out. Peter, who only days before had denied Christ was so filled with the piwer of the Holy Spirit his sermon caused 3000 to join the church. Peter was an Apostle but the power came from the infilling of the Holy Spirit, not having Apostle in front of his name. He was an Apostle when he was denying Jesus. Judas was an Apostle when he betrayed Christ. The differentiating factor was the Holy Spirit. Look at Acts 8 for further proof. Phillip, who WAS NOT an Apostle, heard someone was supposed to go to Samaria. Phillip went down there and signs followed exactly like Jesus said. It wasn’t Phillip who had some special ability, No ! It was the Holy Spirit exactly like Jesus said. Phillip took the ministry as far as he could but then had to send for Peter and John. When Paul came along he ran into believers and said this, "19 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, 2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. 3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism. 4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. 5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied." Did Paul do a miracle ? No, the text plainly says, the Holy Ghost got involved. Paul explained events like this in 1 Corinthians with these words, "7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will." Paul lists all 9 Gifts, Miracles being one, Healing beìng another. Paul does not say God makes certain men miracle workers to give the early church credibility. No ! Paul says the Gifts are available to EVERY MAN by the Holy Spirit ! Paul wanted there to be no ambiguity, so he repeated who the Gifts were for again. Paul said, "7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal ..." It is very clear from Paul's teaching that the Holy Spirit is who manifests any and all of the 9 Gifts. The idea that God makes a MAN a healer orca miracle worker is plainly contrary to scripture. Then saying the Holy Spirit left or is somehow muted is not in the Bible. This idea that therebis no mention of Gifts in the epistles is not true. James says, "14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him." Jude says, "20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost," So obviously the Laying on of Hands still work in James' time. Tongues was still practiced in Jude's day. So nothing had ceased ! It went straight back to Jesus telling the what the BELIEVERS would do in Mark 16. The Gifts are even mentioned in the Book of Revelation. Look at this passage, "3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. 4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. 5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. 6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will ..." So if the Holy Spirit left the planet when the Apostles died, how are these guys doing miracles and prophecying ? Nothing has left ! The scripture says, "29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance." Gifts dont come and go like God cant make up His mind. Also a man 8sn't the carrier of special power like a Marvel Movie. The Holy Spirit manifests the Gifts THROUGH BELIEVERS. It is not their power, it's the Holy Spirit who has the power. The idea that there were 3 times God made men miracle workers, instead of God sent the Holy Spirit to empower men, is completely unhitched from the teaching of scripture.

the canon of the bible was promulgated by damasus i in 382 at the council of rome and repeated by carthage and hippo on 393 and 397. it was primarily defined to prevent the inclusion of heretical books that were proliferating or have infiltrated in the churches by the 4th century and it was also an offshoot of the project of translating the bible into the latin vulgate by jerome since he needed a defined canon. damasus i invited the eastern bishops to the council of rome but they declined after having just finished the first council of constantinople. and no, nicea never defined the bible. the canon of the bible was well known by 100. revelation was the last to be written by the end of 67 ad. the entire new testament was written prior to the fire of rome in 64 except possibly john which was written probably with the outbreak of the first jewish war in 66 because instead of writing the olivet discourse, he split it off into the book of revelation. luke and john were two volume books: luke and acts, and john and revelation; because if you apply a forensic lens on the historical context it was written in, this is the most coherent conclusion. dr. svigel is correct the colosseum probably didn't host any martyrdoms because the persecutions occurred mostly during the reigns of nero and domitian, and therefore in the vatican arena, and domitian's circus (piazza navona); although it is conceivable that isolated cases may have occurred at the colosseum moving forward from the reign of domitian. the colosseum was also financed from the spoils of the jewish war. the jewish temple also served as the treasury and the fire that burned it also melted the gold and silver cracking the stones. this is the reason why the prophecy of jesus came to pass that no stone was left on top of another. the stones would have to be broken down to the foundations to extract the melted gold and silver. the manpower in terms of slaves also came from judea; this is mentioned by josephus. the spoils from jerusalem was used by vespasian and titus and domitian to finance many building works in rome.

The new covenant came with gifts. Are we under a third covenant with the cessation of gifts? Do cessationists pray for sick people? If so, why? Do you believe that demons can inhabit people? What can you do about the demon possessed people?

Isaiah 28:11 is fulfilled in the ministry of Jesus... he spoke in tongues.... parables... the language of scripture. That being true... then all cessationists and continuationists are in big trouble. The spirit of antichrist is already here.

Wow. Either this guy is ignorant or dishonest. I hope it's just ignorance. All his arguments have been utterly refuted by Remnant Radio and Andrew Wilson after Strange Fire. Now, over 10 years later, he's still referencing Augustine and the church history argument when the clear evidence from Augustine supports continuationism, as does many other voices from church history. If he knew his stuff, he would at least remove that argument.

I don't think those principles prohibited women from working outside the home. Women, married women worked in Rome, during the NT. In World war s all the men went to fight leaving the women to climb the corprate ladders... and for our day its take 4 people working full time jobs to bring in the kind of money needed to live with one income.....Not only does the mother and father need to work but the kids need to work as well, to keep roof over thier head food in thier belly.....

@SoundWordsMin - Examples of silence are not proof. I am deeply concerned that you are in danger of propagating what Paul referred to as "old wives' tales" in his letters to Timothy. When discussing cessationism, I do not perceive a biblical foundation; instead, I hear echoes of a conservative counterpart to the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR). My background in a highly charismatic church that lacked robust biblical teaching makes me sensitive to these parallels. What I discern in your arguments is reminiscent of my charismatic experiences rather than a rigorous exegesis of Scripture. As a pastor, I must express a serious concern: cessationism may verge on heresy, even if it stops just short of it. The reason I refrain from labeling it outright heresy is that the Bible does indicate that spiritual gifts will cease at some point. My issue with cessationism lies not in its conclusion that certain gifts have ceased, but in the methodology used to reach this conclusion. It is the exegesis, or lack thereof, that alarms me. The process by which cessationism is argued often appears deeply flawed, bringing it perilously close to heretical territory. The core issue is the reliance on silence as a foundation for doctrinal positions. Cessationist arguments frequently hinge on the absence of evidence, interpreting this silence as a basis for doctrine. This approach is fraught with danger, as it involves constructing theological assertions based on what is not explicitly stated in Scripture. For example, cessationists often argue that the declining mention of certain spiritual gifts after 1 Corinthians indicates their cessation. They might question why faith healers are not routinely summoned to hospitals today, concluding from this absence that such gifts no longer exist. Using silence to interpret the Bible is a precarious method. Consider the Pool of Bethesda, where Jesus healed only one of many sick individuals. Does this imply that God does not heal physically? Or take Acts 3, where a man lame from birth is healed by Peter and John, despite possibly having been passed by Jesus numerous times. Does Jesus’ failure to heal this man earlier negate His healing powers? Clearly, such conclusions are unwarranted. The absence of evidence does not constitute evidence of absence. This principle is vital when interpreting Scripture. The book of Esther, for instance, never mentions God explicitly, yet His providential hand is evident throughout. To claim God's inactivity based on His silence in Esther would be erroneous. There are several critical problems with using silence as a basis for doctrinal conclusions: Multiple Variables: Silence can stem from numerous factors. For cessationism to be valid, all other possible explanations for the biblical silence must be excluded, which cessationists have not convincingly achieved. Theological laziness often underpins the acceptance of such arguments. Consider the following possibilities: Cessationism might be correct. Accounts of spiritual gifts might exist but be lost to history, as suggested by John's statement that Jesus' actions were too numerous to record exhaustively. The early church might have considered spiritual gifts normal, hence not noteworthy for further documentation. Divisions over gifts could have led to a deliberate silence to avoid conflict. Timothy's caution about neglecting spiritual gifts indicates that their use could wane for reasons other than cessation. Each of these possibilities, and others, must be disproven to establish cessationism conclusively, which is practically impossible. Using silence as proof is thus a deeply flawed exegetical method. Elevation of Personal Experience: Arguments from silence often elevate personal experience over biblical testimony. The reasoning typically follows: "I have not seen or experienced it; therefore, it does not exist." This is akin to the foundation of charismatic theology, which asserts the reality of experiences as proof. Both approaches are problematic because they rely on subjective experience rather than objective scriptural evidence. Many individuals in my congregation struggle with doubts about God's existence or activity due to perceived silence, which arguments from silence can exacerbate. In conclusion, my contention is not with the assertion that spiritual gifts have ceased, but with the use of biblical silence as the primary support for this claim. By endorsing silence as a valid interpretative tool, you inadvertently promote its use in broader theological contexts, leading to flawed conclusions such as, "If Jesus didn't explicitly address it, it must be wrong or right." This misguided methodology forces pastors to address and correct erroneous beliefs, thereby undermining sound doctrinal teaching. I'm dealing with that right now. The same exgegis used to justify Cessenationism is used to justify homosexuality, " Jesus did specifically say anything, so that means its not a sin..." Find another way.
