This is what actually happened: Jeremiah and the old band caught a massive case of I-am-better-than-you and started shitting on/talking down to Tony on his own show. Jeremiah, behind the scenes, started insinuating that he, and the band, are what actually made the show “funny”. He was effectively sh*tting on Tony. Tony fired Jeremiah and the band because of the passive aggressive one-upmanship that was taking place. Tony didn’t even break a sweat replacing the previous cast. He got a new band, who barely ever speak, and replaced J&theband with regulars like Lucas, Hans Kim, Casey Rocket…etc. The show is now bigger than ever, with some recent shows routinely getting ten of millions of views per show. Jeremiah bit the hand that fed him, overstepped the social hierarchy, misread Tony, misunderstood his actual level “fame” & “talent” and his abilities. Now he (Jeremiah), and the band, are trying to rebuild their careers from the ashes. That’s what happened. A dude who used to dress as the Iron Patriot because he (Jeremiah)was too nervous to show his face or speak on stage got big-shot-itous and tried to outdo/undermine his boss (Tony). That is why there is bad blood from Tony’s side. From his perspective: a guy he helped get into comedy, and start his career, is now saying that” he isn’t funny and that he is better at comedy”… the betrayal, the hubris, the ego. Jeremiah is a douche. He is mediocre (maybe could have been more), but he betrayed his friends, his colleague, and the comedic hierarchy by tearing down what others have built in order to build his own brand. It’s straight up karma.

In years Kill Tony will be looked down upon from the next gen of comedians. And Joe Rogan and his crew who all talked about being bumped and how they're going to do better supported this which is wayyy worse. They literally use new comics as cannon fodder to be discarded after..
