      I feel bad for that Heath guy, ever since getting with that crew he's been so strung out on drugs barely making any jokes anymore, he just relies on his appearance 100% now. David Lucas out here just arguing with people at his sets instead of doing comedy. Tony is the namesake of the show but is probably the worst comedian to regularly be on that stage tbh

    I have noticed that sometimes it really just depends on what mood tony is in. Hes blacklisted some people for no real reason. His ego gets the best of him at times.

    that one guy AJ had a GOLDEN line when he said "yeah i was in special ed.....but i got in on a technicality". That line should have been acknowledged, that showed potential and I've seen Tony pull a one liner out of others like that and have it be their saving grace. He committed too much to the roast before really seeing what he could get out of the dude.

    The baby one is intense, I remember being a bit uncomfortable hearing it for the first time...... however, I think he's trying to manage the flow of the show. Bringing up a miscarriage story on the show is a huuuuuge downer, so either he has a real conversation about it and kill show momentum OR he does this and make it the most outlandish thing you've ever heard.

      "They sign up for it" I know, but I just don't like how all of the content I see from Tony is just him talking the biggest and meanest shit, lately. I like the point of adding some sort of constructive criticism; he could just tell her not to bring it up in a comedy act and laugh about how ridiculous it is to rather than direct it at someone. Comedy is more than just being able to roast people.

    Sure some of those "comics" that don't take the opportunity seriously should be heavily roasted for wasting the audience's time. Legit comics would kill to get a minute on that stage.
    But Tony loves to power trip. This is his dream job.
    Definitely constructive criticism is needed more on Kill Tony, even if the comic is a first timer. Tony seems to discourage that unless the comic is already polished.

      I kind of disagree. Every time someone tells tony they are a first timer he definitely seems to get a bit more understanding and softer with them, and he gives them respect if it was a solid minute. He will always throw a joke or two at em, but he will also let em know "good job your brave for your first time being on here, you did it."

    I recently went back & watched the earliest videos available on YT, and really enjoyed them. The panel often gave great feedback to the bucket pulls.
    The best episode was the one with Bill Burr, who threatened to leave if the bullying from Tony didn’t stop. Tony dialed it back & was kinder than usual.

It's still filled with anxiety and pressure regardless of who goes on stage, every single comedian feels that at some point in their life, this show is the perfect way to test a comedians ability to handle the anxiety and the pressure. In my opinion, better to be laughed at and made fun of by professionals than to be standing on stage while a silent crowd stares at you.

Its very de-humanizing of him to just tell some random stranger he has never seen before that they are complete garbage and then they get blacklisted for trying something new in their life. I dont think watching strangers get roasted just becasue they exist should be part of the show. Or any show for that matter. You dont know how it is to be in their shoes. They could be going through something horrible and then Tony here jokes about your miscarriage just because of the laughs.

    The worst i ever saw a bucket pull get roasted was when David Lucas was the guest, and a very overweight girl dissed David, then Tony and David proceeded to roast her like I've never seen. The clip is on UA-cam.

    I like the show for the most part, but sometimes they def go too far. Messing with a chick who had a miscarriage or fat shaming a girl so hard she runs off stage in tears is too far imo. You can roast and fuck with people without completely tearing them down

    Tony's ego is the most irritating part of the show sometimes. I love the show, I think Tony is hilarious, but it's really cringe when he makes an ok joke and acts like he's the funniest guy alive. Same with the guest hosts who are only there to stroke his ego. Also he shouldn't blacklist people he finds annoying, it should only be if they're over the top rude

      Belittling Brian is fine, it’s belittling the bucket pulls that get more laughs than SOME (Hans) of the regulars yet get treated like nobody laughed. George Carlin was really fond of word play and examining linguistics in his comedy, I'm a person who finds it enjoyable to avidly read and write. That sort of humor is right in my wheelhouse. Art is inherently subjective though so there are probably comedians that you find funny which I wouldn't enjoy. C'est la vie.

    I say completely fair game and thats what they signed up for. It also blows me away how people just volunteer the most embarrassing personal information, or go up without some kind of strategy as if theyve never seen the show before. You have the opportunity to plan ahead which, if you know how big the show is, you should definitely do. If Tony asks you something youre not comfortable with JUST FUCKING LIE, HOW HARD IS IT TO LIE?!?! The interview is about being likable and funny, it's not a fucking therapy session or a job interview. Being honest obviously can help but you should know that anything you bring up youre going to potentially be roasted on. That being said I definitely would love more constructive criticism, which I think should be the guest's main job because obv it would be awkward for Tony to switch from roasting to constructive criticism. The whole point of the show since its inception has been brutally roasting amateur comedians who dare set foot on a stage, thats why I didnt like it the first time I watched it but have since grown to love it MU HA HA HA HA

    I think the biggest lesson here is, they have alot to learn about handling uncomfortable moments as comics. They took it on the chin and clammed up. Even got upset and teary. I feel for them, but you can't be that sensitive in this line of work. If any of them tried to spin one of these into a roast off? Maybe it would have helped there case a bit, would have showed spunk despite not being funny.

    It's cringey watching how some measure of fame, especially in comedy, which is different from being a pro athlete/musician/actual celebrity, seems to give the meekest, squeakiest, least physically imposing guys balls of steel. Kill Tony is a great idea and concept. But it's starting to get REALLY FUNNY that Tony thinks being on his Internet comedy show--which will always only exist on the fringes--is like getting a co-star credit in a Rober Downey Jr film. I say this as a fan who watches the show almost daily.
