I really liked the colors on the outside. It would even look nice with black windows too. Love the wood walls and ceiling. This home would be good for a weekend or overnight rental, but not good for full-time living. IN CASE THE BUILDER IS SEEING THIS, I would like to see them build one of the more popular floor plans below for full-time living: Use the same roof pitch that is on this home in the video, but without the loft. Put the entry door on the side, walking into the far end of the living room. Meaning, when you walk in the side entry door, you would have the hallway immediately to your left, and to the right would be the living room with the kitchen on the far end. Keep the covered porch, but make it off the bedroom end. The customer would have the option to make it private like a balcony with rails all around the covered porch, or have a stairway or ramp entry. Put in a wide U-shaped kitchen on the front end of the home, so the kitchen sink is facing a window and the cabinets and counters go around the outside walls. This allows for more cabinets and counter space. The kitchen is open to the living area, which gives a more open floor plan and wheelchair friendly. In the hallway on the left, as you are walking towards the bedroom, you have a pantry closet, stackable w/d, and then a linen closet. (Or, just one pantry closet and a side by side w/d.) On the right side of the hallway, you have a linen closet, then the bathroom entrance. The bedroom gets the 2 small closets with a built-in chest of drawers in the middle. The door to the covered deck (off the bedroom) can be a slider or 36" walk-through door. This floor plan is for 399 sf, it is open, has a lot of storage, and a nice size kitchen and living room. No loft, no high walls or high windows, very livable, and keeps the price down. Figure out how to layout the bathroom to keep the hallway and bedroom door at 36" and you would have a prize winner for both young and old that wants full-time living and to age in place. I've seen a model built this way, but it needed tweaking on the bathroom side to have a little wider hallway and interior doors. If anyone wants to see a park model built this way, let me know and I'll find the old video. It was from a dealer in Texas. However, if Phoenix built it with all wood walls and ceilings, it would be awesome, especially if they could figure out how to make the interior doors 36 inches wide. Make the sides bump out where the bathroom and hallway is to make the hallway and bedroom door 36" wide.

Nice appliances and finishes but there is no countertop space if you need a microwave. I would get rid of the "living room" space and add that space to the kitchen, bedroom, and closet.

I love the tiny house videos. I also like mobile homes. RV’s or even full size home open houses. I’m looking for my eventual retirement dream. To me it doesn’t matter about size as much as cost. I love looking at all homes, architecture, design style etc. I’m newer to the channel so I’m binge watching all your videos. I would enjoy cooking videos. I’d also be interested in any ways to simplify your life as we age and set yourself up for retirement. I unfortunately had to retire early but my husband is still working. So I’m looking at ways to facilitate his retirement as able in any way.

Homemade dressing and gravy and then candied yams. I love it all though. Spiral ham and turkey.

I bet that would be good with cabbage instead of Kale too. Looks delicious though as is!

I just watched your video about the Dutch Oven! I live about a half hour away and was actually there today! I got a sandwich from the deli, a loaf of cheese/garlic bread and a pound cake! 😋 I enjoyed your video very much. I have to pace myself when I go or I’ll come home with way more than I need! 😊

The closet sells me! I love this! Perfect size! If I was closer this would may be the one for me! It’s a yes on the private hot tub off the bedroom. Perfect idea! I think this is one of my favorites I’ve seen so far! The first one! Finally a good closet! Sold if I was closer.

The barn is fabulous! I am from Spotsylvania. Saved this video. I’d do the garage like you said by building a wall to store lawn mower etc. Kitchen and living room down stairs and at minimum a half bath. 2 bedrooms upstairs with nice bathroom in between. One for me and another for craft room and guest room. I wonder if this size would be permitted on land as a home. I won’t because I struggle with stairs but even a young couple with a child could live here with that idea. I’m still looking for my dream home. Right up the road is Clayton. I’ve considered a single wide. I just want easy living. There is also a nice tiny home builder in Spotsylvania/Fredericksburg.

Okay, 3rd model. I love that exterior! The inside is still awesome but I wonder if you bought one you could pay extra to add the plumbing? I could live in a studio with no walls other than bathroom. I’d add a cool closet, bathroom, some cabinets and appliances and call it a day. Probably 30,000 total you would have a beautiful home. That’s actually my favorite. I like the look.

In the 2nd one I may put a desk in hall under mini split. The dining table and chairs are nice but I shrink the table. In bedroom I may store Christmas in that tiny closet or seasonal clothes but then put a wardrobe or dresser in front. I slide those out to clean behind so once or twice a year to slide out dresser is fine. Clothes and shoes are a necessity. (I may have more than I should.) I just wish you could find the perfect tiny home with a big walk in closet. You could even build out a closet in hall under mini split. That hall looks large. I didn’t feel it had a good spot for the big tv. It’s super nice though. Love the look. Again curious about the maintenance on the wood.

I wonder about the maintenance on all that wood over the years. Looking to retire and live a more simple life. Hard to deny that beauty though! Absolutely gorgeous and well appointed. Instead of bump out in bedroom they should have just extended the whole wall. I feel bigger bed may fit better. I’d like bigger bed but wouldn’t want to sacrifice closet and half bath. Those are genius. Definitely need railing on stairs. I just don’t get that concept in tiny homes. Otherwise love this!

I live in a much smaller 1 bedroom house but not “tiny” and I don’t have room for a dining room table. Even a small bistro table. I miss sitting with my husband across from him at the table to enjoy a meal. Yes, I want a dishwasher. Hip replacement and I have trouble standing washing dishes for a long time.

I want a covered porch no matter what I get. I love to sit outside in my Cracker Barrel rocking chairs. My favorite room of my house is my covered porch.

A whole ceiling of guitars in one room would be awesome! I can’t pair down my clothes, shoes and craft room. My yarn game is strong! My kitchen stuff is too much for an average tiny home too. Making me think more about a single wide trailer vs my dream tiny home. I want the complete full size appliances as well. Washer/dryer, fridge, stove etc. I dream of a tiny home but starting to realize that may not be realistic for me. Open ceilings to bathroom is for allowing mini split air flow but I’m not into that either. Feels creepy.

Gotta do naked cat grooming. 😂 I have 2 small chihuahuas and the hair is real! Totally worth it though. ❤️ Animal lovers unite. Pet hair can be a new fashion statement. 😂

Is it as hard to put a single wide on land as a tiny home? I’m not sure what to look for to find out. I guess they could help me. I want land. Not a trailer park community. Country girl 100%.

I have been watching a ton of tiny home videos thinking about retirement. I think they are often better quality. Yet, I don’t want to get rid of my lifetime of memories, kitchen items etc so recently have been looking at more single wide trailers for the larger kitchen, more closets and guest room for my craft room and guests. With a tiny home I can’t get over not having a craft room or guest room for my kids. Nowadays I feel the single wide is often more affordable. I don’t want to be left with extra projects like some tiny homes require. I also still want full size home appliances.

I see retired people buying tiny homes with a loft they sleep in and even with ladders. I just can’t imagine. I’d have to have one floor living.

This first home is perfection. I'd store my Swifer and vacuum in the bedroom closet.

Bunks gone would make a nice office with maybe a bed that comes out of the wall for guests.

I like these tiny homes with porches and lofts. One woman I've seen on these videos uses her loft to sleep in during winter because heat rises so it's warmer. In summer she sleeps in her downstairs bedroom. Other people use the loft as an office or hobby and craft room or even an entire wardrobe closet. Anyway, I liked the home's decor and the unique stairs even if they did lead up to a scandalous loft.
