Men won’t invest naturally unless the woman is monogamous at least for the time of before childbirth and through the next 25 years of each child’s life. The longer they stay monogamous the better. Now men can have sex with other women and choose whom to be committed to or potentially support all of the children he knows are his. It doesn’t matter what the fuck anyone thinks is fair we know that humans really evolved to be monogyny or polygamous and polygyny based groups failed horribly and only one can be identified and it’s definitely not an advanced society. Sure modern society has changed things but that doesn’t mean it won’t destabilize society. Women who are polygyny and genetics that have that in their genetics will be naturally removed from the gene pool. But we might lose civilization if we stop monogamy and especially if we stop monogyny too quickly. Remember, humans became intelligent and evolved genetically but also evolved through civilization and society. The groups that survived were monogamous or polygamous only except for one primitive group. So whether you think we are individually selected for monogamy, we know that it is naturally needed for the children to succeed as natural selection removed humans who weren’t heavily monogamous. They didn’t have to feel monogamous naturally because their societies and social influences evolved to manage that. You can’t compare humans the same way you talk about simple biological needs.

I think it's true. My sister while she was unmarried and working and lived with us. She never spent a single money at home nor on bills not anything else. She was just using her money for her. But when she met her now husband at that time, she paid a lot of things for him and bought so many stuffs for him cuz he doesn't earn that high of a salary, hes a cop. like, car, sport bike, a truck and even took housing Loan and probably a lot of other stuffs too lol to build their own houses for when they got married, luckily they are now married. So Andrew is a bit right here. When she loves a man deeply she will do spend on him if he's kinda low on cash. But that only applies when she's head over heels in love with him.
