Got out today to hike up Maulin mountain in county Wicklow, Ireland. Some Beautiful views from the top, and decided to make a quick camp fire to cook up some food and continue the adventure on with some car stealth camping in Dublin.

I think you're onto it here. "working your whole life just to pay for things, to keep on struggling. The struggle never ends." The absurdity of struggle without an end. What are we struggling for? I'm totally on your wavelength. It's like being on a treadmill, and no matter how hard you run you are going nowhere.

Yeah I also found running or just working out in general to be the best help with inner turmoil. I've thought about doing a marathon but to be honest I'd probably drop dead after a kilometer :D 5 years of running and I haven't gotten better at it one bit, sucks. But I hope the marathon goes well for you and that your body still functions after that lol. And the part about looking back at this is spot on man you'll be so proud of yourself. Like how could you not be, running so many kilometers is insaneee. Even training for it is already a huge achievement. Anyways, good luck, don't hurt yourself!
@@rose002 hey, thanks for commenting :) couldn’t agree more! I think working out or fitness related activities in general have always been a way for me to destress and decompress from life a little. It’s great you have been running for 5 years, regardless of distance etc if you enjoy and it makes you feel good then that’s what it’s about. For sure, training for this will be worth it in the end! For me I have some inner turmoil around personal achievement, there’s a want and need to push towards something, but I need to focus myself a little and keep on track! So far I’m on the path, so let’s keep it going 💪🏼

You know that bit about seeing yourself and your "not giving your best" isn't true. When you recorded it you were everything you needed to be at that time. Just keep showing up.

I've been dealing with fear a lot which as been stopping me from achieving my goals, and your story sounds just like mine. Facing fear head on and doing it anyway is when you find out what you're really made of.

I often feel like the greatest battle in life is the one within. Self vs self. It’s interesting to think how we would show up in the world if we didn’t limit our selves so much. I’m in the same boat! I’ve toyed with starting a channel, but always feel the same way about how I come across on camera. I don’t want to sell anything to anyone, just be myself.
Thanks for sharing that with me! I feel this conflict also, which has previously stopped me. Sometimes the hardest thing is to just show up as ourselves without feeling like we need something extra to feel enough. I would say just post something. Begin the journey without any expectation to where it leads.
