I agree and understand what you'r saying.. but the majority of the filipinos there in the Philippines are brown skin fact!.. and there are allot of whiten products in the PH to help whiten their skins. if thats what some people want to do, then go for it. I don't hate your opinion sir... I'm here to explain why SB19 use smartphone in the Music Video so you have an idea what happen. About the lyrics: “This song is about reconnecting with people. It’s different when you go out, meet people, do interesting things - climb a mountain! I would give everything to go back to the situation before where you’re not worrying if someone coughs. The song is about going back to how it was: talking and meeting actual people, doing things together, just re-creating the feeling we had before.” About the Music Video: “Going back to the ’50s, ’70s, and ’90s eras, we researched how to show it visually and make people feel the nostalgia of things they kind of miss,” Justin explains. “We know that most of our fans are young, but we also want to reach those who experienced those times and tell young people these are the things they did. We didn’t have computers or cell phones; they’d go roller skating, enjoy parties, and hang out in the diners and arcades. Nowadays, we are kind of disconnected because of all the digital and, of course, the pandemic. It’s not just in the music video, but we are trying to connect SB19 with everything - including our tour.” The boys time travel across decades to share their story of disco love and connection. For this go around, the boys trade in their secret agent fits for leather, peace signs, and hair gel. And helping lead the MV’s vision was Justin who served as creative director, Stell who was lead choreographer, and the input of the other members as well. “Everything we put out is connected,” Justin says. “It all started from the teaser during the present day then we went back to the past, from the 50s (diner) to 70s (roller disco) to the 90s (arcade) and back to the present.” Please don't judge quickly on the production side and use your credible as a "filmmaker". I've seen many reactors Reaction Video that watching the Music Video "for the first time" and they noticed it's a "time travel".

Hi, I believe you have misunderstood my reaction to this video, I wasn't talking down on sb19, as a filipino myself I'm proud of them and I give them props for all their success and archived and making the filipinos proud around the world. What I was commenting on was on the production side, how the director and crew may have miss things. I didn't get that they were time travelers and its because I didn't get the storyline, it may also be on me how I saw the video. I get it but not everyone is like you, .. and I'm not in any way talking down about the singers and the hard work that they put in, they are doing great, my props for all their success, but as a filmmaker I'm reacting to the production side, how the video was done, watching it for the first time, I didn't get that they were time travelers, even till the very end. I was reacting to your comment towards the latter part where you said that we weren't particular about the production aspect here because all we're looking at are the guys, the song, and visuals. Fans also love to analyze every mv that the boys produce (I've been reading comments and tweets for months now). We have so much fun talking about everything like easter eggs and sometimes we even connect it with previous MVs that the boys released. Of course, people will have their own interpretations and we're cool with that. For me, it's the Ghostbusters poster that shouldn't have belonged there. As for the pocket watch, maybe the guy had his own reasons for having one (for example, I own a 100 year old rocking chair). Fans noticed that the hour hand on the watch was pointing at the numbers 8 and 10 and this can be interpreted as 18 or A'tin (the fandom name). I was surprised about the phones too but understood the time travel concept after having watched the entire video. That's just it. Thanks for supporting Pinoy talent and God bless! lol.. that whole guys and girls thing was a joke and I apparently you didn't see it that way haha.. and for the whole out of place things, I understand you have a rocking chair but thats not my point.. if your not a filmmaker you don't understand how we view and see things, we just see things differently as to why that props was there, whats the reasons! why was the scene shot that way,. etc etc.. just know that filmmakers see and think differently with anything that we watch. True true!! but this is a reaction video right? so as a filmmaker or even just a normal reactor, if I see something odd I will react to it.. watching it for the first time, I didn't get that they were time traveler, how mv are being made "now days" they don't have a storyline they just jump from clip to clips with a different scene, looks and locations, with this video all I got was clips of them in 50's, 60's etc . also some props mistakes, Example! the "Ghostbusters poster" and "pocket watch", was in the wrong era with-in the period piece that was a mistake. if you read my post at the very top it will explain more clearly on my opinion hopefully. I noticed that too but that didn't make me think that they were time travelers.. as a filmmaker do you really want my honest opinion? I feel that they didn't give enough storyline for me to think that they were time traveler.. the director lack story telling. even at the end of the video someone said that they were all in a different era. I didn't see it.. the way it was shoot, I didn't feel that all of them were in a different era because there wasn't enough evidence with the set design or backdrop to make me think that they were all in a different era, the look of the scene, set design and back drop looked like the same era .. the way mv are shot now days having fast cuts, different location, different wardrobe and no continuity it makes it hard to see if there is a storyline especially if your lacking in story telling. don't get me wrong, I like the video and song but as a filmmaker I didn't see it that way. Morissette just had a Performance at a Casino here in Cebu City, and we all got VIP tickets to the event. She is really good.

I served 43-years serving in the U.S. Army, twice retired from the US Air Force (1998 & 2005), and retired for the third time after 15-years in the Department of Defense December 2020. I retired to Cebu City, Philippines in Feb 2022. Where you move to here depends upon how much money you have, what you like, your medical requirements, country or city life, etc. I have traveled to the Phil many times before I moved here. It was not an easy decision where to live. Foreigners with smaller retirements go to Dumaguete, Valencia, Bohol, Leyte, in a city or Province, some (fewer) go to Mindanao. These are less expensive places to live. I have a larger pension, and chose the Cebu City Metro Area which is the second largest City Metro Area (to Metro Manila) in the Philippines. Very good internet. I pay about $550-$600 a month in rent in Cebu City capital area for a 3-bed 2-story "Apartment Home" with Office, Maid's Room, large kitchen, LR, DR, upstairs Den, 3-Full Baths, Terrace, Garage, Security Cameras, etc. Why Cebu? It is less expensive, has many Large Malls; big, medium, and small Hospitals (Good medical); it is centrally located in the Philippines; close to major resorts/beaches; has ferry ports, international airport, large hotels, Casinos, taxicabs, great restaurants, and traffic is manageable. Easy fast flights to Manila. HQ for JRC Immigration & Consultancy Services that helped me get my SRRV Visa and find a house. Why did I not retire to Manila? Very Expensive, insane traffic (do not recommend driving - take taxis), sometimes bad air pollution and floods. What is good about Manila? Everything is there - period (HQ for all Gov't Offices, U.S. Embassy, etc.), Countless Hospitals large and small, specialty clinics and hospitals, many hotels, great restaurants; many Gigantic Malls; supermarkets, specialty stores (World's largest IKEA), all stores are "in stock" if you want something, not always the case in Cebu City. Many foreigners live in the Southern or Northern Areas of the National Capital Region. Hope this helped.
