Sounds like your GPS antenna might be starting to go. Cause when they fully fail it shows like in the video here. Yours might be starting to go. It is the least expensive "fix" to try for an intermittant problem.

Still gotta buff it, but it is really clean underneath too. Cant wait to get it buffed.

@AVC-Works it's more of a hooptie because of what I paid for it. I have had two of these cars. One was a nightmare and one was awesome. I'm really digging this one. Just realised besides my gt500 this is the lowest mileage vehicle i have lol

I am really enjoying this car so far I have owned two other S60 T5s. This is my first 2.5t all-wheel drive but honestly it drives very similar to the other two. What type of s60s do you have?

@Circleofcycles2 they are nice but they are kind of moneypits aswel if you maintain them right, I own a S60 2007 T5 m66 with 68.000km second one is an 02 V70 2.4D 270.000km this one has been milking me last few months, poor idling due to bad injectors, new alternator, battery, suspension timing belt but still not giving up on them because they are really nice to drive ;)

@@PsychicThursday i wish they were brighter. But I have a decent size garage and the only lighting goes down. I need normal light bulbs so I get the light bouncing off thr ceiling.

@Circleofcycles2 question ? Yitamotor or lasfit? quality fit like a glove like weathertech. For my 2023 ford f 150 xlt. I refused to pay 300 for floor mats.

@@Casca-su3ty yitamotors are nice. I have seen lasfit and they are ok. Ive done about 5 of the yita motor reviews and they always fit really nice

@Circleofcycles2 was going to order the weathertech I only needed the front mats the truck came with a rear mat with tax and shipping $169,00 dollars I thought it was too much. But thank u so much for the advised buddy and try not to sat on more trucks it will affect your rear as u get older

I am Summit Auto in FDL. We are not a GM dealership, but I would tell the dealership you are taking it to to try swapping out the GPS antenna if this is your exact issue. I habe typically found that if the GPS is in the wrong coordinates its the antenna. There is always a chance the radio is bad and the antenna might not fix this specific issue.

I agree. I have seen just as many chipped windshields with the gorilla glass as the old windshields. It is a fancy naming gimmick. Maybe works good for cell phones but not so much for car windshields

Check it when it’s cold for the most accurate reading. I’ve never had difficulty with the reading, but the dipstick is in a weird spot

Thats crazy. All I own are us vehicles and only had 1 leak because of a bad seal on a 3rd brake light on my truck.

I would be interested in finding this out too. I had to replace my battery and after replacing I noticed my GPS said I was in Wisconsin, I'm actually in Alabama too. I've spent days searching the internet and found nothing. Most of the issues found were about blank screens etc. everything else in my car works fine, just not the GPS. There is an information button on the mylink screen, and I clicked it then clicked navigation, it shows no satellites found. My GPS screen also shows the word GPS in the upper right corner of the screen with a line through it. I've checked all my fuses, and they're all fine. It's really frustrating. I cringe when I think about going to the dealership, it always feels like they're taking you for as much money as they can get. Each time I've been to the dealership, even for regular maintenance service, I never get out of there for less than 1K, and it's usually closer to 2k. The main reason I quit going to the dealership, I have no faith that they aren't trying to rip me off. Sure would be nice to know if there was a fairly easy fix I could do myself.

I have an appointment with Hendrix in Birmingham in a couple weeks. They specialize in this kind of stuff. They came highly recommended. Hopefully it'll work

3.6L V6 and the tires are BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO2 LT315/70 R17 tires. Thanks!
