I've just learned about your channel because I had this idea and looked if anybody did the combination of fish and aquaponics before. Oh man this is so exciting!! Have you ever tried feeding the fish with algae grown in a separate tank or even in the fish tank itself? The algae could help to buffer nutrients and add oxygen to the system. Thoughts?

Chuck have you Tried growing in Hay Bales? with emitters above the bales as a mister... the air cools the water and percolates threw straw or hay bales where the plants roots are in the shade.. after 20 yrs of gardening around Tucson, i'm finding out. shade cloth, and extra mulch is Key to desert growing. Radiators with gravity L<><>K great. I grow hydro too but mostly in winter as soon as 100 hits everything takes a crap... but this yr. the zucchini are still producing above 100.... whats the secret to grow Hydro? stop the wind from cutting plants in half?

Do you have a list of the items that you used for your power and pump systems? I recently came upon two solar panels and they still work, so I would like to follow in your footsteps if possible. Thanks in advance

Man i did grow up in the hood (well the german version, but hood is hood am i right fam?), i lived on the streets at age 18, had a burnout at age 24. I lost hope in our species and in myself. I'm in the process of building myself up again. But i still tend to breakdown, so it is hard. BC of that i was looking for inspiration and maaaaan did i found it here! I always wanted to have my own garden, but i didn't thought i would EVER be able to reach it. You are showing me that it is indeed possible to get out of the struggle and into your own sustainable garden and a healthy life. Man i thank you so much! Please keep up that work and your channel. You having big impact on ppl, at least you're having a big impact on me! He looks like an outstanding human and Im sure is still very proud of you! I see he passed on my dad's birthday. My dad passed in 2022 at 87 years old. Today was the first day I listened to one of his favorite songs, as it's been very hard acknowledging his passing still for some reason. I super applaud you on the memorial set up for yours! May you always feel his loving presence by your side, as without a doubt his light and free form is always with you!
