Keep on growing💪🏾🙏🏽🖤
Love this! My wife and I are going to try this out. It gets frustrating at times when you go to the grocery store and try to pick good produce, but they all look like they have been beaten with an ugly stick.
Your produce looks great!
Cant wait to try this!
I got a feeling my wife would be sending me out today to buy these things to get started.
Thanks for all you do!
Thanks, brother. Check out our latest video!
@ Thanks will do!
Saw your incredibly impressive work, habits, and lifestyle on the video with UpFlip this morning, and was so MOVED, I knew I had to find your channel before going on about the rest of my day! Love the work ethic, clarity in your articulation, and straight-up motivational yet quixotic pearls to success you share with others. Much love my man, I'm going to plan my first small hydroponics project too!
Much love, fam! Thank you for the kind words! You're going to love your hydroponic project!
Thank you for sharing 🤗🤗
You're welcome, fam!
We loved the documentary super happy your sharing your experience and knowledge
This is a very cool idea. Thanks for the video!
No problem!
Love this idea, need to figure out a stylish way to grow this inside. Any ideas?
Oh heck, yeah! You can dress it up as anything!
WOW! I live in a hot place in the Dry Tropics where the cost of watering the plants was the limiting factor to making vegetable gardening affordable! That system would be perfect here! My only concern would be whether mosquitos like to breed in there. Or does the nutrient solution stop them?
I'd say if you're concerned about that possibility, start the seedlings in the net pots with a bit of coco coir or similar medium to allow the roots and nothing else through the net pot holes; or tent the whole tote with row cover or mosquito netting.
Hope your grow set up produces well for you!
Great question! Because it's an enclosed system ( no exposed solution), mosquitos can't be in it
Love your energy and channel, friend! Love your ideas for these systems. All the best for 2025 🙏
Thank you so much!!
what's your thoughts on the tower hydro systems. either DIY or bought
My wife really wants to start a sustainable garden in our backyard similar to yours. I'm in charge of building the tank and irrigation. Do you have any recommendations for sources for construction of your system with the 350 gallon tank and tilapia? Help! She's asking me to put on my shoes and head to Home Depot. lol
Woaaaah, I'm just seeing this, lol :) my main recommendation
Look into local sustainable gardening groups on social media. You'd be shocked what's available. Always Source local if possible. Depending on where you're at, chances are there's someone near with baby tilapia.
@@togetherwegrow8340 Thanks for responding. We ended up going to Ecogro and attended a class Saturday. Next Saturday is the Aquaponics class. We're moving along at a slower pace now.
MR. PRESIDENT!
I hope you and the family have had a great year so far! 💪🏻🤙🏻
Looking forward to your videos for 2025! 🙏🏻
Ayyyy, what's poppin!!!
from my experience. The Plants end up tasting like the solution it was sitting in 🤮 You will need to change out the solution for regular water for a few days before harvesting. I grow hydropic cherry tomatoes, herbs and more. trust me on this. But if you don't believe me, then be my guess and take a sample from your garden and taste it and tell me what you think.
P.S. add an Air stone to the bottom of your tote, the same ones for fish tanks. It helps by adding oxygen to the water and the plants love it.
Adding an airstone defeats the purpose of kratky :)
It's a passive system. I explained it in the video, my friend
That's me in this video. :) ua-cam.com/video/T15gXm6ha_I/v-deo.htmlsi=7ao6cVUiGNnyRt2K.
How close to harvest do you add nutrients to your system?
@ when I grow hydroponics I always have solutions in from day one. It’s just not as strong, mostly diluted. But when it came time to harvest, I would change out the solution with just regular water for a week or so.
@iiinsaiii oh you definitely have to flush it. That's in the next video :)
*gets angry*; calls ppl "you can't!!"
I just laughed so hard!
